Surprisingly not that downbeat, definitely doesn’t feel the same as the defeats under Gio and Beale - think the only real difference was the finishing and general play upfront of each team, as well as some horrendous officiating.

Absolutely. I think the players gave their all and the fact that that mob were hanging on reinforces that. Their bunch of cunt fans were relieved. That being said...we will struggle with Dessers and Cantwell being first picks. I won't even talk about Dessers as there's nothing new but Cantwell has lost all focus on the game...no idea what he's about.

I don't disagree that he should have started McCausland right and Cantwell in the 10. That selection is on the manager. But Cantwell not doing what he's asked when he's picked is on him. 

I think the 'new manager bounce' sadly has left us with a false belief that he could get a tune out of the squad..it's clear most of these players are imposters.
Someone said earlier of putting 2 St Mirren players in the team instead of Lammers and Cifuentes and not noticing the difference...it's probably worse than that...the replacements would be better.
