tbh Europe past Xmas in any competition will fucking do me!
give a few of the young boys some CL experience and stick them out against Man U. a young boy (ie Hutton/Fleck) with a bit of talent and a lot to prove would be a great asset IMO.

Fair assumption, when you think how many changes we made against Dunferlime, 7 I think it was, then expect something similar this evening, Kilmarnock won't be a push over but they do have a young side themselves.
Also, just read an interview with Mixu, his words about us are excellent.
Great quote, nice to see Walter getting the recognition he deserves.

Absolutely true. that some of our fans accept any context for our Club being described as a minnow is unbelievable, and by a Scottish Newspaper. Sometimes it takes foreigners to see the magnitude of the Club. One of my family is going to a German university for the next four years and he met a Bulgarian there, she knew about Rangers. In Holland Rangers are appreciated as a Big Club, not minnows- we are not the Dundee Utd of Europe. All over the World, you will find people who know The Rangers.
Can anyone imagine what the Bill Struth Main Stand must have seemed away back when, when it was first built, the statement the Club was making. Then, Mr Waddell's plans for the first stadium of its kind in the UK three decades ago? The thought of Rangers and minnows being in the same term of reference, in any context, is implausible to me; something I can't even comprehend.
Dick Advocaat, in talking to an ignorant Scottish media ten years ago said the name Rangers, when he was growing up in Holland, meant something special. So, the tv money, or lack of, means we are now minnows? I sometimes wonder if we buy into our own defeat, I sometimes wonder if the defeatism that surrounds some people, doesn't preclude another Baxter, Law, Henderson and Dalglish from ever being in our game again. I was asked last week how many games I expected Rangers to win in the Champions League, and whilst I don't go gung ho and say we'll win this game and that, I can honestly say, when playing at Ibrox, I would never feel mellow, or 'okay', with any defeat- every time Rangers lose I get down, no matter who we play. That is not a minnows mentality my friends.
Peter Martin didn't just express some throw-away line. Within this country right now is an attitude, and it is one of surrender- we have no guile anymore. I want us to beat Valencia, if we don't I will be down immediately after; I expect us to compete and hope we qualify- the minute we consider our place as not being at the top table, then,we've given up, and we deny the vision of those people who were at the Club all those decades ago. I am a fanatical Rangers fan, I don't intend to stop being that.
possibly one of the best posts i'd read on here.
take a bow fella.

as chuffed as i am with the result, i just cant help but think if we would've stuck weiss on at 80mins and had a go they wouldnt have known how to handle it. would've maybe took the pressure off the defence a bit aswell!
-
surely had to be papac of naismith, boy worked his arse off for 90 mins solid.

To call it a football facility is streching things big time, the changing rooms are a disgrace and the surface is awful there too, not conducive to playing good football at all.
i actually think the surface is aslright. granted its not a touch on the like of toryglen but i play on it every week and its not that bad.

The moment when Kenny McDowall went running down the tunnel, then to emerge with both Danny Wilson, and Kevin Thomson, arm around the both of them was a cracking sight, and one that just goes to show the team spirit, and respect for one and another.
Fcuking superb moment.
definately never showed that on the telly!

i fucking hate players that go down from ashirt pull. seriously, you'd have to rip my RM shirt off my back for me to hit the deck during a game.

A McCoist goal at Celtic Park. Hurlock dispossessed "faceache" in midfield, and slipped the ball through to McCoist. He seemed to take an age to close in on Bonner, and slip it into the net. He scored at the Rangers end, and danced his way over to the fans. That's a favourite of mine.
Linkage?
mo's goals a cracker aswell

Something I have noticed recently with Boyd, since coming back from injury, is that he is coming far deeper to recieve the ball, and getting involved with play more. Usually is leaving Kenny Miller as the most advanced striker, and getting more chances as of it. I don't know if it's just me or is Kris Boyd not getting himself in as many scoring positions as he was pre-injury?
ive noticed that aswell. usually it wouldve Boyd standing on the keeper and banging in that second goal last night, but as he's dropping deeper to contribute to play he's not able to get into the same positions he was.
he's does one thing to please everyone and they start complaining about everything else.

what was the song the fans were singing about him last night?

surely a wee disclaimer saying something like "anything posted (including opinions, photographs, pictures) are posted by the member and has nothing to do with RangersMedia" would cover it, no?
