  3. Billy Davies has admitted that he would relish the opportunity to manage Rangers during his career. The Scot, who is currently in charge of Nottingham Forest, has recently been linked with a return to his Glasgow roots at Celtic. The 45-year-old has been quick to play down those reports, claiming he has unfinished business in England, but has now revealed that he fancies returning north of the border in the future. And, having spent three seasons as a fringe player at Rangers at the start of his playing career, admits a move to Ibrox would be his preferred choice. "I'm very open-minded with regards to the future. I would love to, no doubt, someday manage Glasgow Rangers," Davies said in an interview due to be aired on Saturday. "Whether it's in 10 years, 15 years - whatever. "However, for now, I'm desperate to get back to the Premier League. I want to get back there with a club that will financially support its manager, a club that wants to compete at that level and doesn't want to change owners. That's my biggest challenge." Proud Davies is hoping he will get an opportunity to chance his arm in the top flight again next season, with Forest currently preparing for the Championship play-offs. The Reds have come a long way in a short space of time, considering they were relegation fodder last term, and Davies accepts that they must avoid getting carried away in a wave of emotion. "We're very proud of our achievements but, at the same time too, our feet remain firmly on the ground," stressed the experienced Scot. "We've just broken the great record of Brian Clough for home wins. For the first time in 30 years, we've gone undefeated, with a 20-game unbeaten run. "Nothing changes though. I know the situation, I know where we are. I know what we've got to do." Link isnt working,on skysports. Sorry if re-post. I would like him to be manager when Walter goes, cant see it happening but. What do you guys think?
  4. Watching the teams performances under Ally in cup games, we have looked very shakey and shown some poor form. Imo hes not ready to be rangers manager. I think he should still remain No2 and have a new manager in
