For most of my life i hoped i would play for Rangers but now because i've grown old and useless i'm hoping i play for celtic !

When i was looking through the teams section i saw the Rangers & Newcastle together photo and suddenly remembered that a friend of mine was reframing an old photo and discovered behind it an old page from a news paper which carried the match report from that very game. The awarding of a star originates from Italy, to signify winning ten league championships (Scudetto's) all this recent displaying of stars to denote winning some cup competition is just bollocks. It's funny how some 38 years after their Lisbon win the whoops decided to start wearing one at coincidentally the same time as Rangers first wore the five on their jersey, It says a lot about that club and none of it any good. Rangers are the first in the world to make it to 50 and so the only club truly entitled to display five stars, wear it with pride !!! Stick with it for now, we have the luxury of dropping it later if we want.

i just felt like sharing this with any Rangers supporter that might appreciate it. I've got a few others if any one's interested.

David Murray has been by far the best Rangers Chairman in my living memory, i also feel that the people charged with running Rangers are probably the best the club could wish for right now. They are doing it better than i could.
