  1. "I don't buy this sectarian argument." Me neither. The truth is that we are playing keech, and have been for a while. If we hadn't built up a big lead during PLG's reign, we would be struggling to win the league. WGS infuriates the support by playing Lennon every time. His lack of mobility forces us to employ Hartley as a SECOND sitting midfielder, his best attributes are being stiffled to accomodate our over-the-hill skipper. Consequently we are far too negative, and too slow through the midfield. Other SPHell clubs know we are predictable, and can quite easily stop us from playing. Riordan is our best finisher, but is overlooked in favour of Zurawski, who has had a pish season. Sectarianism has bugger all to do with it, we are just sick of watching the same old guff, week in and week out!
  2. Saw him on the pre-season tour. The guy is shit-hot..... faster than Agathe, and scores some great goals too. :Animation44:
  3. "my team just turned over hapoel 4-0 with an outstanding performance, showing we are the only team in scotland with any real hope of making an impact on europe. no hurt here" What you gonna do when you run out of pub teams to beat in the diddy cup, then? :Animation44: :Animation44:
  4. I like this site, the fact that I'm a Tim makes no difference if the posters/members are decent. The trouble with a lot of sites is because of infiltration by eejits who simply want to cause bother. I used to post on FF until I admitted I was a Sellik fan and I got the ceremonial boot. <_< This is probably the only site I've been on which actually has an Old Firm thread.....I for one am always interested in what the other side has to say. (header)
  5. I like to think that we can laugh at ourselves. This is a Monty Python sketch which never fail to make me chuckle.....enjoy.
  6. If he decides to go, good luck to him. He's past his best now, and I'm sure he'd welcome an easy retirement well away from the W. of Scotland goldfish bowl. Thanks for the memories, Neil....but don't let the door hit yer erse on the way oot.
  7. We love him. Cast your mind back to when Celtic went to Ibrox for MON's first Old Firm clash there. We got gubbed 5 - 1, and looked as if we would toil against wee Dick's "benchmark" Rangers side. MON went to the board and made the famous quote: "Give me the money for Neil Lennon and I guarantee Barry Ferguson will never dominate another OF match while I am the manager here". Prophetic or whit?.....love him or loathe him, he has been essential to Celtic's resurgence in recent times. Every team needs a Neil Lennon on board, he gets a lot of stick from his own supporters at times, but when he dosen't play he's a bit miss in midfield. You should have seen the reaction to Paul Hartley's signing on some Celtic forums...he was despised in most quarters, but now that he's joined us he's the best thing since.....er.....Neil Lennon?
  8. Got to agree. Liverpool, Arsenal and Man U have always had a big Irish support. <_<
  9. You guys have to be kidding...... Remember Hemdani's extreme OTT celebrations when he scored against Sellik at the Jobbydome?
  10. TB, like Swally, was not under contract to the SFA and could leave at any time. Nor was he "tapped up" and induced to leave the Scotland set-up, so there is no case to answer. Anyhoo, 5 years in that job is enough for anyone....
  11. Something tells me he dosen't want to be No. 2 to the Eckster.
  12. What as......Hoopy the huddle hound?
  13. The word is that we're trying to sign goalkeeper Brown (another ex-rainjurs player) from ICT. :o
