How dare you try to tell a future SNP star anything about economics. The Bawbee will be one of the worlds major currencies don't chai know.

ronniemca got a reaction from glasgow argyle in Hastie and McCrorie update
The problem with Mcrorie is that he simply is not a modern midfield player. He is a good athlete with the heart of a lion ,but really that's his lot.The boy was a right back for the majority of his young career, and a cracking one at that.He was shoved into an old firm game and played well in an ultra negative role and all of a sudden he was our own Busquets.Gerrard is wrong in this one,the boy is a defender and always has been.Get him back to where he is most comfortable Stevie

ronniemca got a reaction from HG5 in 18 games this season against the current top 6
That exactly it.He is trying to copy the Liverpool system of 433 ,which is fair enough. The difference lies in how the front 3 are deployed. The Liverpool front wide men are constantly coming inside into the box when the play is on the opposite wing. Our wide men are constantly on the line (probably because our full backs are hopeless defensively) which leaves us with an isolated striker usually against two ,sometimes three defenders. We are not implementing the 433 system properly and it's not just down to the players

ronniemca got a reaction from rabc10000 in Decision making in the final 3rd
This is it.Any successful team playing 433 need their wide players coming inside and interchanging with the main striker.look at Man City,Liverpool, even St Pats ,all have wide players and midfielders who contribute plenty of goals.we have wide players who generally stay on the line and cross the ball into the box for a lone striker usually surrounded by opposition players.Madness

ronniemca got a reaction from HG5 in Gerrard
Don't see any evidence at all that Gerrard is going to be a top manager.Yes we need to give him another couple of windows but for me the signs are not good,.The team is no better than previous years, the same mistakes repeated game after game and the same excuses and pleas for "reactions " trotted out after nearly every game.I hope I'm wrong but I really don't see it with Gerrard.

ronniemca got a reaction from Amato in Decision making in the final 3rd
Not sure it's a no 10 .More a goal scoring midfielders in my view .Look at the return St Pats get from their midfielders and wide players in the goal scoring stakes, that is where the big difference is between the sides is.All our midfielders are similar, tidy on the ball ,decent in the build up but completely hopeless around the opposition box

The only player in the team who won his Physical battle with his opponent.Very concerning that the team were not Up for it once again in a crucial match.

ronniemca got a reaction from Ozblue in Grezda - where is he?
Watched him training today. They were doing an awful lot of heavy running exercises and some of the players were struggling in the heat. However Grezda ,Katic and Worral were very impressive.Terrific athletes .

Correct ,we have some real fuckin zoomers in our support as well

ronniemca got a reaction from AlCapone in Alfredo dropped an Old Firm bombshell
Players are only a twist or a tackle away from their careers going pear shaped. They will want to cash in when they are on an upward spiral.I wouldn't think he holds out much hope of winning anything with us in the near future either.

ronniemca got a reaction from 35 Yard Dangerman in What the fuck is going wrong and how do we fix it?
The pass he makes to Middleton arrives to his right foot instead of beyond his left .i sit right in line with this and I was going ape shit as Middleton had to adjust his body to get the ball in front of his left foot .Just another example of how technically poor our players are

ronniemca got a reaction from Rfc1872 in As a support (re: middleton)
Middleton has potential, that's all.He could become a good player but he needs to add an awful lot to his game.To me he needs lots of space behind a fullback to use his pace over a distance. He needs to work on shifting the ball a few yards and improving his initial burst of speed to whip the ball in ala wee bud.

ronniemca got a reaction from ClarkeyRFC in Barasic
You won't see the best of Barisic unless we play a player in front of him with a football brain.Middleton is not that player,Jamie Murphy would have been ideal,a player that could move inside and dovetail with the overlapping fullback.Maybe try Grezda there.
