Why did we spend a fair while chasing Danilo, spend £6m on him, and then barely even start him?  

Think people need to remember that Cifuentes and Raskin were being asked to play in the hardest positions in modern football the middle two of a diamond. They've to defend the wider areas but also cover the middle, any times they're slightly out of position it just looks like they're useless.

We were far better in the 2-2 draw last year than we were tonight tbh.
Personally don't think we will get away with playing like we did tonight, next week. We really need to find a way to protect our full backs and get Cifuentes and Raskin involved more.

Starting Ryan Jack in a game of this magnitude in 2023 is nothing short of a complete joke. How did he watch his performance in Geneva and think he should be playing tonight? 
 
Spend what for us is a fortune on a star striker and he can’t even start in our biggest game? Madness

Ryan Jack in the middle is as frustrating as Dessers over Danilo.
Jack provides fuck all protection for the defence these days, especially against a mobile & talented midfield.

Beale is on thin fucking ice.
Genuinely don't think he has a clue.

Giving a new contract to Jack was a horrendous decision.
