  2. A lot will depend on how we react on Wednesday. If we put Hibs to the sword for nothing else than to show their manky support they're nowhere near as good as they thought. Plus it will be a confidence booster for the other games to come.
  3. Voted for Ronald as much as he was past his best when he came to us but some of his slide rule passing was just magic.
  4. Having just watched the game back then sat down had a cuppa to calm down IMO we started with the wrong eleven. However we can sit here and criticize after the event but we have played this predictable football all season trying pretty little passes and touches trying to get in on goal but when that does not work we have no plan B. Teams know they only have to pull 10 men back in defence and eventually a pass will go astray or be intercepted and we either are told not to shoot from outside the box or have no one capable. The key is we are predictable and other managers have worked us out.
  5. Welcome home Gio. Wish you a successful management career with the Famous.
  6. The players are all professionals and you would hope they realize with a new manager coming in everyone is playing for a shirt. There are those who have had stick on spots regardless of how well they are playing, so they need to step up or they will be on the bench or out the door in January its up to them.
  7. How come most of the posters on this side can see the problems yet Gerrard and team can't? Wrong set up for this league should be 3 - 1 - 3 - 1 - 2 with the back three defending. Patterson Balogun Bassey Lundstram Kamara Davis Aribo Hagi Roofe Kent I know Kent is still injured but must be due back soon and Helander could be soon but we need to change things up now or we stand the very real chance of losing the plot entirely.
  8. If that's the worst we play this season then yes we can still win the title. But if this is just the start of a slide no we won't. The passing today was atrocious the control was non existent and the defence, what defence? Tavernier needs a spell on the bench as does Goldson bot terrible in the last few games.
  9. Absolutely gutted. Rest in peace Sir Walter you have meant so much to so many fans the World over. My condolences to your family and to the Rangers family.
  10. So shagger made one mistake all game made three other point blank saves. I think had the strikers done their job and converted at least a third of the chances they botched the one mistake he made wouldn't have mattered.
  11. He doesn't appear to be fit enough at the moment. Missed 4 or 5 chances today should have got at least one of them. He is an out and out striker I don't think he suits the role he is being asked to play. Sure he drags defenders around but no one is there to take advantage of the space he creates. 20 to 25 chances created today and only one in the net nowhere good enough.
  12. Anyone who watched the game heard the boos every time Kamara went near the ball. So either the children were coached by adults, either their parents or club officials, do do that or they are just naturally racist. Either way it was a disgusting spectacle and if UEFA do nothing about it they are equally complicit.
  13. How many of the doubters on here have a flu shot every year or have had the polio vax when young. The flu vax is adjusted every season to combat changes in the virus and polio has been all but eradicated due to vaccines. Smallpox, diphtheria, cholera, typhoid all diseases that were commonplace until vaccines.
  14. I feel we have enough to win this 2-0. Playing in Europe is different to the SPFL with teams playing a 10 man block in the 18 yard box. Lot more open in Europe.
  15. McGregor still number 1 but McLaughlin deserves some game time as does young McCrorie.
  16. I am 73 I started supporting Rangers when I was 10 yrs that was the first time I went to Ibrox.
  17. No you are not but that was how they were looked on. I know lots of them out here that were subjected to that style of abuse.
  18. No GK was vilified because of the colour of his skin. People on here being vilified because of their political views. Different.
  19. Yes just imagine that. It wasn't that long ago Catholics and highlanders were looked on as a sub class by those in the lowlands of Scotland. When if you were a Catholic it was difficult to get a job in some areas and highlanders were looked on as Erse speaking teuchtars, bog trotters. Job application forms had a section that asked what religion you were and it didn't matter what your experience was if you ticked the wrong box you didn't get the job. It happened out here years ago as well jobs in the police force and the public service were the domains of the protestants Catholics need not apply and if you were a freemason you were hired regardless of your experience. So the pendulum has swung the other way now its a terrible situation that should not happen in the 21st century.
  20. I have been a Rangers supporter for 63 years longer than a lot on here have been alive albeit from the other side of the World for most of it. I cannot believe some of the vitriol aimed at posters who don't happen to vote for a certain party. These people are Rangers supporters whether you like it or not and yes I read some of the media from Scotland that seek to implicate Rangers in everything evil in the World but I choose to ignore them and get on with it. I remember when Rangers had a protestant only signing policy, I also remember a certain player of ours being hounded out of the club because his wife was a catholic and don't try and tell me that was not the reason. Twisted and bitter wee men. This is the 21st century and I'll bet some of you uber protestants have not set foot in a church for many a long year. We now have Catholics, protestants, Moslems, people of different skin colours and all different nationalities they are all Rangers players and as long as they wear that shirt I will support them. The outrage on this site when Glen Kamara was racially abused by that moron last year was great but yet the same people slagging off people who vote for the SNP. Rangers as a club promote " everyone anyone" nowhere do I see except if you vote SNP. You all need to have a good look at yourselves, small minded bigots akin to the nazi's of WW2. Rant over and you can tell me to fuck off if you like. I will still be a Rangers man.
  21. How good was Steve Davis was in control that whole game spraying the right pass and then breaking up their attacks. Especially in that last fifteen minutes he was like a man possessed he must be knackered today. Ice baths all round.
  22. Thought he had a brilliant game looked like he had been there all his life. Well done young man you have put the pressure on.
  23. Watched the game on tv here in OZ. The crowd were unbelievable, noise atmosphere were out of this World. The new scum players must have wondered where the fuck have we come to, intimidated.
  24. We showed glimpses of our talent against Ross County but too many passes in and around the 18 yard box. Aribo showed how to do it with that brilliant goal. We need more people having a go or teams will just sit in against us and hope to hit us on the break.
  25. Sad news Davie was one of my heroes growing up.
