I doubt we are winning this match. If we do win it there would actually be hope that Beale and the players can get decent results. I wonder if folk saying this is a ‘must win’ are just hoping we fuck it up to get the manager sacked because this is no easy task they are setting out. (Spoiler: he won’t be sacked if we lose)
Ps. I am actually clinging on to a little bit of hope that we will come good this season, despite the injuries, horrendous form and lacklustre signings. I think it is called “being a fan” 😂

I would hold those on the board responsible if I knew who on the board appointed Beale in the first place.  I suspect he was a Douglas Park appointee with the assistance of Ross Wilson.

The board also need to take some of the blame as even know Beale should be making decisions on players where were the checks and balances before signing off on a £10 million plus spend? This was even more important as we don’t have a DoF/SD.

I am not happy with Beale, his tactics his team selections or most of his signings.
However I doubt he is going anywhere yet because firstly we probably can't afford to sack him. Secondly who do we replace him with at this stage of the season, most of the good managers are already contracted to clubs plus the money needed to lure one away from a contract is probably more than our board would be prepared to spend.
Then we have the players Beale has brought in apart from Butland, Cantwell, Raskin and Lawrence none of them are good enough on their showings this season. So who is to blame for the signings, were they all down to Beale or were they scouted or recommended to him by outside sources because the blame lies with someone. Plus if you buy these players as " your team " why are you not playing them. If they were supposed to be a step up from what we had why were they not played against PSV or celtic. If he felt they were not good enough or not ready, why did we buy them?
From the start of this season we needed a team that was ready to go, to play Champions league qualifiers and we knew we were going to be playing celtic four games into the season and that would possibly make of break our season, yet we lost to Killie and now them.
So it all boils down to Beale, his team, his tactics.

As supporters we have seen this so many times now and I think that’s why the reaction was so strongly negative at full time, guys like David Edgar are openly calling for a change and we all know how close Heart & Hand is with the club and even though most of the journalists in Scotland are hacks, most of them have been around for long enough to know how the land lies, especially in Glasgow.
I don’t think he will leave right now, the board will feel they have to support him after the way they have backed him, but we are 100% on the home stretch with him as our manager.

So Beale has no apparent style of play with the old squad, no apparent style of play with the new squad then proceeds to drop many of his signings and still no apparent style of play.
4 points behind after 4 games, scraping by in the league cup, and getting humiliated in the play-offs for UCL. No cup wins last year unlike Gio’s Scottish cup so he shouldn’t get as much time as Gio. If you could see what he was trying to do and it just wasn’t quite there then fine but to sign Danilo for £6m and then just put him on the bench then bring him on but play him wide, it’s bonkers.
Add to that his inability (or reluctance born out of pride and stubbornness) to make changes to his team at half time rather than waiting until 60 mins every game and even when these changes come about it’s more often than not a like for like change.
He then contradicts himself in interviews such as before the psv game saying we want something to take over there that’s why we are going on the front foot with a positive team, yet the team that was selected was set up defensively and sat off PSV. Likewise the game against them, their weakest area was at the back so let’s back off and let them play out with only Dessers jogging between the centrebacks. He is clueless and is taking us in one direction only….backwards

For years now we've made it look like its the hardest thing in the world to break down Scottish teams at Ibrox, and have to huff and puff with crosses and hoping for mistakes to fashion a chance.
If we'd invested in two wide pacey attackers for around 5 million each and either side of a good new forward, and cantwell in behind in the centre we'd probably be blowing teams away (not that our recruitment team gives me confidence tho we'd identify the right players). Instead we've bought 4 random strikers that don't look like they belong in the same starting lineup.  Mental.

PSV have a different team as well as us and theirs performed better on the night. I agree our new players don't seem to be any better than the ones we have sold but hey its all what happens on the pitch on the night and we didn't perform as well as they did.
Whether that is a reflection on the new players or Beale or just how things unfolded or a combination of all, I don't know for certain.
But there is no point in looking back our priority is now Sunday then the Europa league and every game each week. Give the new players time to gel and get used to each other and Beales philosophy and if neither work then we can talk about replacements.

How many times have we recruited an unproven manager in recent years:
ally (he gets a pass given promotion at the club etc)
    pedro
gerrard (worked out, eventually, for a bit)
    beale…
it’s really not good enough for a club of our size, turnover and expectation

The parallels between where they are now to where we were a year and a bit ago are there for all to see.
A team that still wants the previous manager/system and who's players don't really buy in to the new philosophy or tactics and under investment in improving the team while you are ahead.

I have followed Rangers for 60 years and have watched numerous brilliant players over the years.
But when it was announced that JD was signing for us I was every bit as excited as I was when Gazza signed.
    Special players.

I saw a bit more to our play tonight than against Killie. There were a few little balls inside and players were trying little intricate passes inside the box. They didn't come off, but there was at least an attempt at trying something different.
We were smarter with the use of long balls tonight too.
The side to side passes tonight were more because of how deep they sat, especially when they went down to 10. I saw it more probing rather than zide to side for the sake of it.
Tonight wasn't perfect, but could at least see some patterns of play and some good football at times.
Once we click, i think we'll be a really good team.
