  1. JUMPERS FOR GOALPOSTS EPISODE 6. It's that time of the week again when four ill-informed, tax dodging, reprobates discuss, in their own inimitable way, the past week's trials and tribulations in the world of football. We're now offering our service via iTunes. Yes, I know, we're kind of a big deal. Host Stef Meens is joined by the usual crowd – Stu Martinez, Colin Stone and Elliot Busby – to discuss everything football; from Arsene Wenger’s smoke-screen and the pronunciation of Dirk Kuyt to contentious refereeing decisions and the Old Firm furore
  2. Apparently he grabbed his testicles during the match at Parkhead.
  3. Episode 5 - Jumpers for Goalposts. Produced by Glasgow Caledonian University journalism students. Off the wall weekly podcast rounding up events in the world of football. Topics deliberated this week include the Carling Cup final, Scott Parker's hair and Beram Kayal's stunning El Hadji Diouf revelations. 4. We're journalism students studying in Glasgow and would like to give you all the opportunity to listen to our new football podcast called Jumpers for Goalposts. It's mainly EPL based but we do reserve Old Firm coverage each week. Topics deliberated today include Clarence Seedorf’s genital parts, our deaf listeners and the more serious matters of the FA Cup, the Old frim derby, the Premiership relegation battle and the Champions League. It's a work in progress and we'd appreciate some feedback. Click on the link below to listen. 5. I'm currently working on an article focusing on this years upcoming European adventure. Thought I'd pick all your brains and canvass some opinion. Realistically, how far to you think we can progress?
  6. Have some stars.

  7. Arsene Wenger touched on the subject of a European League yesterday in his press conference. Supposedly there is a lot of talk behind the scenes and he can see it happening within the next 10 years. Obviously something like this is a long way off but I'd love to see it. Admittedly it would effectively bring an end to Scottish football but would undoubtedly see the re-emergence of Rangers as a top European side. Surely that can only be a good thing . . . .
  8. In my lifetime, they've provided the best commentary on an old firm game. Tell it how it is...rather than CrockOShit's agenda. Easily the best commentary duo around. Sadly this Sunday we'll be forced to endure Crocker and Walker's drivel.
  9. Do we reckon Sky will call upon the top dogs for the Old Firm clashes: Messrs Tyler & Gray? I bloody hope so. Nothing beats an Andy Gray goal summation. Take a bow sun.
  10. Paul Mitchell must be the worst commentator in the history of British football. For some reason BBC Scotland insists on using him for every live match. I know David Begg is more suited to radio but I would like to see him commentate on a televised encounter. He's fantastic on Radio Scotland. David Begg is a Rangers hating khunt. Never got that impression from him. He always comes across fairly impartial.

  12. If the hype surrounding Danny Wilson is justified then it would be criminal if he wasn't given a run out at some point this season.
  13. Fair point but according to reports Wilson is meant to be one hell of a talent. If your good enough, surely it shouldn't matter how young you are.
  14. I would presume Walter has seen more of the boy than you and is ina far better position to judge...... You have comments to make on MB's, Walter has leagues to win, he should pick the team he thinks will do the best job, not be taking risks with 17 year olds he doesn't believbe are ready. I'd say Wilson is at least as good a CB as Broadfoot and more solid in there than Papac, from the several times I've seen him play. He could have played that 90 minutes v Falkirk at the weekend effortlessly. Spot on Papaguy. As I said in your latest post, I'd like to see young Wilson given the opportunity against some of the weaker SPL sides at Ibrox. Aside from a season long loan in a competitive league, how else are we to aid his development. Sitting on the bench as an unused sub every week is surely going to be the the lads detriment.
  15. I think every man and his dog recognises the need to strengthen at centre back. Walters admission that Weir wont play three games in a week makes the issue even more paramount. I'd like to see Wilson given the chance in the League Cup or against lesser SPL sides at Ibrox. However, I'm confident we WILL see someone brought in before 31 August.
