Keeping It Real(ly Shite), Michael Beale
Bronzy replied to Bronzy's topic in General Football & Sport
To relegation-threatened Huddersfield, no less. I wonder if he sees where we are now compared to where he left us, and if he has any kind of self-reflection on his managerial abilities. Haha, who am I kidding - he’s probably taking credit for the position we’re in now. -
Basically called out his own board. Said they should’ve been braver in the market, and that it’s all well and good buying players who need developed and sold on who can make the club lots of money, but they should also be signing players ready made. Spoke like a guy who isn’t happy at all, I would say he’s definitely gone at the end of the season whatever happens.

That explains the change in profile picture.

I’d shoot my load.

Cowdenbeath it was. -
Within six months of leaving us, he’s went from being permanently injured to playing regularly at club and international level, and now being wanted by Anderlecht who are currently second in Belgium. If you didn’t laugh you’d cry

If anything summed up the ridiculous arrogance and hubris that our previous manager had, it was blowing a sizeable chunk of our budget on a striker who hadn’t even reached double figures in goals over the last four seasons. It was a signing that basically everyone apart from Michael Beale knew was never going to work.

Took the devil’s coin.

Used to be? No chance.

Just had a long discussion with the other mods, and we’ve come to the collective decision that @Rowley Birkin is indeed a fanny.

Phil Boersma, physio for us at the time I believe.

Copland bear will be raging imo.

Emails are arriving to those affected by the new plans. More to follow. Rangers have made the decision to create a new singing section in the centre of the lower part of Copland Road stand. It will be 600 strong. Those moving out of the area will be offered first chance to get seats in a new 1,000 capacity cantilever extension to the Rear of the Copland.

Dear OP, Fuck off. Regards, Bronzy.

The biggest one to blame for me is that fucking moron Beale, for refusing to sign wingers and signing strikers who are terrified of scoring. You can get away with midfielders who don’t really score if you have wingers and strikers who consistently do - we have neither, and instead almost solely rely on our RB to regularly score and assist. -

This pretty much confirms what we already knew - it’s down to the forward lines. -

Surprisingly not that downbeat, definitely doesn’t feel the same as the defeats under Gio and Beale - think the only real difference was the finishing and general play upfront of each team, as well as some horrendous officiating. Feels like when we lost 2-1 in 2019 under Gerrard, or when they lost 1-0 in Postecoglou’s first OF. Despite the result you get a sense that the tide is turning.
