  1. Bears we are really giving Hibs too much credit here. Outplayed them 3 times this season. Should never in a million years have lost at Easter Road. Rangers v Hibs a massive game? Geez a break. We'll do this mob, then they'll shite themselves.
  2. Gazza Euro 96. Barry Ferguson Wembley 99. 2 performances we should all be proud of regardless of international allegiances.
  3. Doesn't really make getting rid of him any easier to be honest. But good that we get the securities released and the retail operation becomes a bit more favourable. A step in the right direction.
  4. Laudrup for me. Thinking back, getting to watch him every week as a teenager was just mind blowing, had no idea how lucky I was. Unseen would have to be Cooper, although my dad saw both and still picks Laudrup.
  5. Aah, that'll be it. If we get Bell fit hopefully it allows Kelly to get out on loan somewhere in Jan and get games under his belt.
  6. We've been better than them in all 3 games so far. We just need to sort our finishing out, and not play Wilson. If we do both we'll win. Never thought I'd say it after last season but I agree Law should start.
  7. Right at the start who does he say is back training after a long layoff? Sounds like "Kevin"?
  8. I see this has gone well then! Oh well, it sounded good in my head last night, maybe need to lay aff the drink...
  9. We don't have one in the squad tho? So whoever plays there is going to be "shoe-horned" into it - as Halliday has been up to now.
  10. People are crying out to change something in our approach, but we know the 4-3-3 isn't going to change. One of the complaints I've heard is that Halliday isn't right for the DM position because he isn't disciplined enough and doesn't move the ball on quick enough. For me Shiels is an intelligent player who can read the game and spot a pass quickly. While I wouldn't describe him as a tackler I think his intelligence would see him able to sit in front of the centre backs, make interceptions and switch the play with good quick passes. Halliday is strong in the tackle and playing him further forward still allows him to put tackles in but be more box-to-box, which I think is his more natural game, and give us an extra goal threat from midfield (along with Holt) without the team suffering. I think a holding midfielder will be on the January shopping list but for Monday would a midfield 3 of ----Shiels Holt-----Halliday be worth a go?
  11. Have you really not worked it out yet?! Duff & Phelps, Whyte, arrests, fraud?! Nobody else was ever getting the Club - do you still need that explained to you, really?
  12. It's not a takeover - it's 2 seats on the board for a £6.5m investment. The same number of seats Ashley got for his £3m loan, and as far as I'm aware he hasn't outlined any sort of plan going forward - in fact he's said about as much as he's said to Newcastle fans in the last 5 years which is the square root of fuck all. So, tell me - what are the reasons going to be for rejecting this investment (not loan) offer?
  13. Which is precisely why the bid will be rejected.
  14. Which is - Rangers fans in the boardroom.... No? Or are we better off with more short term loans and <10:90 retail contracts?
