I’m not going to be too hard on them. Every player is trying but we’re just not at this level. The gulf in class is massive unfortunately. I know it’s a lot of money but we’ll be far more competitive in the Europa League.

This will be an incredibly difficult game for us. I’ll not be too disappointed if we lose as long as we’re competitive and make a game of it. It’s a hard bunch to please on here. I thought we did well against a very good side. All to play for next week but also a good game tonight for building a bit of confidence domestically.

I’m not ready to give up the ghost just yet. Lots of players have came to us and struggled McCoist, Hately Albertz to name a few. However, the early signs aren’t filling me with confidence. I never want to see either of them in a Rangers jersey again. I don’t know who we play instead but I’d settle for someone who’s giving 100% effort. I think the boy will be an excellent player for us. However, he needs players in front of him to make decent runs and create a bit of space. He burst forward a few times today and when he looked up there was fuck all to hit. Also ran himself to a standstill so effort isn’t something we need to worry about either. We’ll see the best of this boy if we can put some decent forwards in front of him. I have high hopes for him personally, but I’m not convinced we’ll sign a couple of decent strikers to play off him. Time will tell.

Another hard watch. Our final ball is so sloppy and our shooting is fucking horrendous. The standard of the other teams in the league is at an all time low. Still, it’s another win and another three points. Fair play to all the bears who are going to the games, it can’t be that enjoyable watching teams just camping in front of their box every week. We need a major overhaul, I just hope that the will, desire and funds is there to do it.

Much as I don’t like admitting it, this is absolutely true. The best part of the experience for me was beating it up the bastards when we pumped them. Unfortunately, you also had to take it when it went the other way. If there’s no compromise reached soon then the fixture is greatly diminished in my opinion. And if that’s the case the whole of Scottish football is fucked. As someone suggested earlier, the allocation that the likes of Liverpool and Dortmund got might be the way to go if that’s possible.

I don’t think I’ll ever be in a place where I can accept that we have to play second fiddle to the Tarriers. They undoubtedly have more money than us at the moment and to be fair appear to be much better run. However, if our mindset is to think that it’s good enough to just hang on to their coat tails then we’re fucked. It’s only 18 months ago that they were in a worse position than we are now. That shows how quickly things can change. They have bought shrewdly and from market’s that we should also be exploring. If perspective means bending over and taking up the arse, then we’re fucking done for. As for the manager, play your best players and for fuck sake have a go. And finally, as a club and including board, management, players and supporters, there is only one place that we should aspire to and that is number 1. Anywhere else is for losers.

Just to try and glean something positive from today. I honestly think Raskin is going to be a great player for us.

The biggest plus for me is that we’ll be massive underdogs in the eyes of the media and the great unwashed. We’ve not been Brazil 70 under Beale but we’ve developed a winning habit and are much more likely to cause them problems now. They get too much respect from the other teams in the league and are able to run over the top of them. I grudgingly admit that they’re fucking good at it when they get the chance. We have to be a threat against them, like we where in the second half of the January game. So come Sunday, fucking into them from the start Rangers. The bastards don’t like it up them.
