  1. loved the gaffers celebration today. The most fired up i have seen him in his second spell. Shades of the 97 new year OF game
  2. Saturday was the first time I have ever been part of "the subway loyal" Left in the 89th min to get the subway in time for the fecking pipe band championships!
  3. we have gained 12 million from getting to the champions league, and have sold around 8 players, which has saved their wages. Where is the money? We will sign at least one defender, of that I am sure.
  4. Whittaker is not nearly good enough. His positioning, decision making and pace when defending is absoultely woeful. And that is just in the SPL. Against the worlds best left wingers, in the CL, he will get absolutely ripped to shreds. We can't play David Weir in the champions league. This statement may cause a bit of controversy. I know he is our club captain, and don't get me wrong, he has been a phenomenal signing by Walter, but he is far too slow for the CL now. If we play him we are going to have to play very, very deep. This is absolute suicide in the CL. We will have to back of our opponents far too much, and they will absolutely decimate us. Walter himself says Davie will not play 3 games in a week. To gain points at home in the CL(anything gained away is a bonus IMO) we have to force a high line and press the game. This is impossible with Big Davie in the side. Ideally I would also like a pacy, creative winger signed, but that is not a necessity and is beyond our spending power. We have 12 days before the window slams shut. If we don't sign a new quality right back, and a partner for boogie, we will really struggle in the CL, and it will puts our championship hopes in the balance. Does anyone expect us to rectify these huge problems in the next 12 days? And if so, who do you think will be brought in?
  5. That's the point, their is no Mr Rangers, it's just a personal opinion of who you admired the most and think typifies a rangers man(or that's how I took the question), for me that is Ally Mccoist. that was how the question was meant to be taken
  6. Now you're just being silly. Please tell me why this is not the case for our all time record goal scorer?
  7. You only have to read the record of Mr Struth and that tells you all you want to know. Yes because Ally McCoist had a terrible record for Rangers , didn't he?!
  8. Ally McCoist is the clubs all time record goal scorer. He has been a Rangers supporter all his life. He wore the blue jersey with pride. He has since went on to become a very successful coach with Rangers. Once Walter steps down he will become the Manager. To say Ally McCoist doesn't deserve to be spoke in the same breath as anyone who has played for/managed Rangers is ludicrous. If Ally McCoist had achieved what he has in the last 20 years, during the 50s, you would probably have considered voting him. By dismissing him so readily shows the ridiculous arrogance of football supporters from your generation. Ally McCoist is up there with Bill Struth, Walter Smith and John Grieg no question
  9. Yes of that there is no doubt. But the question was who do you think deserves the title the most! Who has served Rangers in a manner which is most deserving of being called "Mr Rangers" I never said anyone was bigger than Rangers.
  10. The four I expected to fight it out are indeed miles ahead od the rest Surprised/disappointed by the lack of support for Gough, gave him serious consideration, before going for Smith
