I've heard plenty say they're the loyalest supporters in the world, and when you divide success by attendance over 60 years they might have a point. The only British club who in my view are "one of the biggest clubs in the world", are Man Utd and they're 100 times bigger than Newcastle, and just about every other club. Liverpool are a successful club but they're not one of the biggest clubs in the world in my eyes. Man Utd, Real, Barca, AC Milan, Juventus, Al Ahly, Boca and River and that's probably it.
