  1. He was really good against St Johnstone a few months ago; that is the kind of player we need right now.
  2. Even at our best we didn't have a league won this early, or we rarely did; right now we have it all to do. Some of our players have stepped up in terms of giving us goals, but overall our performances haven't been that great, and we don't have any level of consistency going in terms of performances. Way too early to think we are even close for the title.
  3. We were awful against Ross County. These players last night didn't take any responsibility to control the ball; in what way would Miller have affected that?
  4. Still can't believe how that goal of their's came about. I wonder if he thought their attacker was offside. Going to watch the match on RTV either tonight or tomorrow.
  5. Great interview. He is so right, we lacked so much purpose in our play tonight, and didn't express ourselves. A win's a win though, and hopefully we go on from that and do better.
  6. Best shot stopper in the league. He was a bit better on the cross balls as well; he took one in the second half quite well. Great result tonight, and a lot of that was down to him.
  7. The irony; it's a straight question. Is there anything in the Aberdeen chairman's statement that even hints at your assertion that '"something" didn't sit right'?
  8. So what in the Aberdeen chairman's statement even hints at that?
  9. There is nothing to grasp. You said Rangers 'instigated this whole "afair"', that '"something" didn't sit right'. I asked you what in the Aberdeen chairman's statement even remotely hinted that something didn't sit right?
  10. Not one word of that indicates that something didn't sit right.
  11. Have Rangers done that? Anyway, that is another argument, you said that something didn't sit right, but you have no facts that lead you to that conclusion, neither have you any words from the Aberdeen chairman to lead you to it.
  12. Are you for real? We wanted their manager, but you're suggesting that 'obviously something didn't sit right'? I'll say it again, we only wanted their manager; like other clubs do at times like this. Let me ask you, what in the initial statement by the Aberdeen chairman suggested that 'something didn't sit right'?
  13. Just listened to this and wonder, is he growing into this role; might we be staring the obvious in the face given our circumstances? It's just speculation on my part, but Murty comes across rather well here.
  14. Eh; what 'whole "affair"' is that? You mean we wanted him as manager?
  15. Naive possibility. I suggest you try and find an article in the Financial Times at the weekend, on what it described as 'the "Disneyfication" of Football'; it was mainly related to Man City, but it also put the possibility that football is going to change in how it is funded, with multiple clubs coming under an umbrella of one corporation and so on. You cannot predict what could happen to Rangers, especially with a "brand" that still spans globally, and a fan/customer base such as it has; many ingredients are there, and although we can't rule things in necessarily, we can't really rule them out either. No more institutional investment in Rangers?; the reason you state is that there is no money in Scottish football, but Rangers don't only compete in Scotland already as it stands, and maybe it won't need the club to play in the EPL, or the Premiership. Do you need funding on those scales anyway, and how many predicted Man City would be where it is now just under a decade ago? The potential for this club if it landed someone with a vision is not for you or I to negate just because we may lack the imagination that person would have. Weirder things have happened, and this club has taken ambitious routes before, and can do so again.
  16. He seems to have developed as well. Is he not near the first team call Dude?
  17. Is the default position what previous boards have done; does that give this lot a free pass for incompetence? This manager situation is symptomatic of a great malaise at this club, and it needs sorted.
  18. But we have gone seven weeks without a manager, and there is no sign of one coming in anytime soon. That, for me anyway, indicates a problem. I know we were rejected last week, but that would have been six weeks; where is the leadership at this club right now? I was also thinking of something else the other day, in this calendar year how many weeks during our competitive seasons, this one and last season, have we gone without a manager? This whole situation is all wrong, and it is not the way this club has ever operated before. This need this sorted, they need a proper executive running the day to day of the club better, and they need to show real ambition to be first by having a definite plan and sticking with it.
  19. I was concerned Kranjar might come on today when I saw him warming up. Barjonas coming on was for the best!
