I don't really do the Forum anymore, but I had to say that I am very sad at the passing of ED. I never met him apart from on here, but we would PM sometimes; he was very nice guy. I heard purely by chance yesterday, and I have been down about this since then. My condolences to his family.

Before there was such a thing as agents big Tam used to do many of The Rangers players finances like pensions and investments, he counted many of them as good friends, whom he socialised with down through the years...he wasn’t averse to a bit name dropping about it either ?

Well GB you managed it,'A little bitty tear let me down'. Thankyou mate,a wonderful gesture.

Thought posters might like to put a face to the name, checked if it was okay to do so, it is.
Something most won’t know about ED is that he was at N’castle after leaving school, he was offered terms but his mother decided he was getting a real job in the bank.
He was a big lump of a lad even then, typical battering ram centre forward of that era and skill to go with it, who knows what could have been, hope you like the fotie from last year, keep rockin’ big chap ?

Makes yesterday's result All the more frustrating, there for the taking but we're toothless and in no state to even challenge.

Still can’t believe if we win on Saturday we are only 2 points behind the greatest team that’s ever played the game as well.

The way this is going you wouldn't be surprised though.

The way it's going it might be the one outcome this board can manage. Yesterday's press conference was interesting, I think for the first time Murty tried to sound managerial. Maybe in light of what is happening at the club, where we appear to be very limited, he'd be as good as anyone else. The performances, outwith the double header against Aberdeen, may indicate he doesn't have it though. If attitude alone made you a manager, Murty would certainly be up there.

We are sometimes in danger of losing touch with the whole history of the club, and sticking to our own generation when we evaluate who the best 11 were etc. There is just so many great players who played for Rangers that it can be a pointless exercise ever imagining who were the best ever 11.

Even there you see the capture of a certain dynamism. If only they had good film of all these players throughout the generations.
