Because they played against the Inter Milan side that drew 0-0 at Ibrox but took us through to be the 1st Scottish side to reach the knock out stages of the champion's league!
I was in Ibrox that night, and our game finished nil-nil, but we had to wait until the brataslava game finished before we knew if we were through or not, it was a tense 4mins, but when it came over the tannoy we were through, it was chaos!

Michael Mols comeback from injury we beat Glentoran 4-0 I'm sure that was around September 2000 I would have been 7 at the time.

He put in one of the best defensive one-on-one performances I've ever seen against Messi in that 0-0 at Ibrox.
It's hard to remember Messi even playing it that game that's how good a shift the big man put in.

Firstly, we WILL draw them in the cup, whether it be Scottish or League Cup. I'm adamant there will be some sort of fix to get a Glasgow derby at the earliest possible stage. Don't know how they'd do this, but the League Cup is drawn behind closed doors (or in other words it aint on TV). I'd love to beat them, but to be perfectly honest I can't actually handle an Old Firm game this season.

Until very recently a lot of bears insisted that we be referred to as The Rangers. Go back 2/3 months on here and take a look at the threads.
I always referred to ourselves as The Rangers for years but now it would only satisfy every other cunt on the planet so I won't be having it. We are Rangers or Glasgow Rangers.
