I cannae help but think this part of the interview was unnecessary. Lafferty is gonnae get it tight for weeks as it is never mind McCoist adding to it.

Its a strange one. I voted Davis but only because he is the most viable option...I dont actually see him as captain material. Wilson is way too young...In a few years he will be a perfect choice but not right now. Davis for me, given the limited choice accross the squad.

It was the best move for both parties. He didnt become a bad player, just stopped being a good player for Rangers. The rejuvenation he has had is clear for all to see. I dont think he should have came back in the first place though.
