Well that's mine nearly 2 year old and not had one issue so far. Did have a weird thing happen recently right enough. Was playing hitman 2, been playing it for a while, and my monitor went onto standby mode and my GPU fans went to 100% at the same time.

Each individual part comes with a warranty and RMA service that is fairly straightforward and simple, certainly not any more hassle than sending an entire tower back for repair or replacement. A Windows 10 key is 20 quid or less. Thermal compound isn't any more than 10 quid. Building it yourself is 100% the way to go and I don't believe buying it pre built has any advantage other than saving some time, that time isn't worth the mark up PC builders have in their pricing imo.

Get yourself a RX 580 4GB or 8GB if its just for 1080p. I've got a Ryzen 5 2600 and a MSI Armor RX 580. Performs amazing for the money it cost.

6 core Ryzen is more than enough for 1080p gaming and is better value for money than Intel chips imo.

Oh fuck man I went back to DOTA 2 recently having been away from it for about 2 years and after 2 games I was placed in the low priority matchmaking due to excessive reports. Now I'm no angel when it comes to in game chat but I was sure I hadn't said anything offensive because I hadn't even used the chat over those 2 games. A few minutes of research later I come to find out that false reporting is rampant but not only that but the company who've taken it over don't even check the reports they just instigated a system whereby you're reported, you're punished and so a lot of players are stuck in low priority matchmaking permanently due to malicious reports. You kill me? Reported. You play a class I don't like? Reported. They've fucked it

Glad you liked it mate, I did too but I never got all the gushing over it people did. It was a technical masterpiece in terms of the graphics, the details of the world. Like I said, typical Rockstar stuff, great first two thirds, poor last third.

The last 4 hours of the main story were brutal mate. Ride here, meet this guy, ride somewhere with him, shoot a bunch of guys. Rinse, repeat. Great game, no doubt. Typical Rockstar game though that the final act of the story is shite.

Until it bores you to tears for the last 4 hours aye.
