  1. 25 minutes into our biggest game of the season against an average tarrier side and we could essentially change the entire outfield starting line up we've been that bad
  2. Looking nervy at the back and looks like an unpredictable wind, so we decide to just fire the ball back at Butland over and over again. Some of our players heads are just gone completely from the first whistle when we play this mob.
  3. Please not another game where we let Scales and co. stroll it.
  4. A new striker in January wouldn't have made a difference in Europe as they wouldn't have made the squad anyway. Clement has gambled on Dessers being good enough domestically, we just have to hope that between him, Roofe and Silva we have enough to see us through. Personally I think we'll go back to Silva through the middle on Sunday with Dessers on the bench, probably behind Roofe in the pecking order.
  5. No shame in losing to a decent Benfica side. Evenly matched across the two legs and the difference in the end was they have a forward who can stay on side and finish, we don't. There's obviously going to be a lot of changes in the summer so the manager just needs to squeeze every ounce of effort and quality from a tired group of players and hopefully end the season with a well deserved treble.
  6. His heading at both ends of the park is generally abysmal, the ball always seems to come off his head at the strangest of angles, even when he's facing straight on its a lottery which direction it will fly off.
  7. Would have taken that result before kick off, could have been a lot worse given we're down to the bare bones but were it not for Goldson's inexplicable cock up could have been a hell of a lot better. The ties still completely in the balance, both defences pretty ropey and they'll create chances at Ibrox. Hopefully Roofe will somehow stay fit as he showed straight away his game intelligence and awareness is far superior to Dessers and he could be the difference between a good season and a great one. Special mention to Ridvan, thought he was immense and him, Sterling and Diomande are going to make us a fair wedge of money when they're eventually sold.
  8. We're losing our heads here, starting to look tired. At the moment if we lose a third quickly could easily become four, we need to take the sting out of it for 5/10 minutes if we can.
  9. Classic sucker punch right on the stroke of half time, that'll suck the life right out of them. If we can just keep our heads and steer clear of their 'gamesmanship' I can see the crowd really turning on them the longer it goes on and them losing the plot. We need the referee to be strong though as they'll be throwing themselves to the deck at every opportunity, especially Di Maria.
  10. Fucking Souttar again. From one angle looked like he headed it first but from the other it was straight to hand. However the whole period of pressure leading to the penalty stemmed from Dessers giving the ball away. Fucking yasss! 😄
  11. "I don't like to comment on officials as you know" 😂😂 Aye right you are you tarrier bastard. Just watch now as Beaton is ripped apart, the SFA are falling over themselves to apologise to celtic and VAR is removed from use.
  12. That's a massive get out of jail free card for us today. We've actually finished the weekend in a slightly better position than we started and I certainly did not see that coming at 5 o clock yesterday.
  13. Cortes will be relieved he's only on loan, at least he can go back to his parent club for treatment. We must be the worst club in the world for diagnosis and recovery and then turning slight knocks into long term absences.
  14. Unfortunately even that Idah has gone from being a joke signing to the kind of target man physical lump that's ideally suited to this league and that Goldson in particular struggles to handle. Given the way our players continue to drop like flies I dread to think right now who we'll even have available for the old firm and added to that if McCausland's injury isn't too serious there's a very real possibility of us lining up with both him and Wright in the same front three in the remaining games this season which is a frightening prospect.
  15. Even the challenge that Bair got booked for late on looked to me like Goldson mistimed his 'jump' and hit himself in the face
  16. This is the issue for me, the constant niggly fouls that go unpunished for the opposition but that we get pulled up for every single time without fail. It's every single game this goes on and as a club we just sit by and watch it happen. And as today showed, even the stone wall decisions are being 'missed' by the referees as they know anything remotely controversial in our favour will be forensically dissected by the baying mob that is Scottish football whilst if they turn a blind eye to it there'll be 'nothing to see here'.
  17. A horrific injury list and lack of quality in the squad is finally catching up with us now, he has a monumental job on his hands to pick this group back off the floor and rebuild the title momentum. I have faith in the manager, the players unfortunately are another matter.
  18. Can't run, can't tackle, can't header the ball cleanly in either box and for a big lad is easily bullied by any striker with a bit of physicality and aggression. And of course one of our highest earners on a long term contract. Fucking wonderful.
  19. And just like that we have the title initiative to the time. Fucking raging at that performance today and yet again shoes why there will forever be question marks over the mentality of that squad. And that was a career ending performance from Goldson today, utterly pathetic.
  20. Shambolic. Our title challenge could be completely unravelling today.
  21. Fucking hell, Goldsons got lead boots on today even more so than usual, that Bair is ragdolling him.
  22. Great penalty. Let's just get this game won without any more injuries. That soap dodgers bastard O'Donnell will be happy to take one for the team today and put one of our players out of action.
  23. That miss might be as big a moment as the Butland save on Wednesday.
  24. A serious reality check needed for the lad if he thinks he's ever getting move to Chelsea, he's not even good enough to get in the Motherwell midfield.
