About as bad a 45 minutes as we've had under Clement, loose and lazy all over the park today. However, when the opposition are allowed to foul without impunity whilst we're penalised for every slight infringement, it makes it extremely difficult to build any kind of rhythm.

Too many players looking ahead to Benfica and forgetting there's a game to be won today.

I'll never understand it, two good wins against Hearts and Killie should see us full of confidence and yet here we are yet again looking like a bundle of nerves. Just reiterates how much work still needs to be done this season if we're going to win the league.

Tarriers to implode completely and Hearts closing the gap would be very interesting! Would be particularly pleasing if we've already won the league and we have Hearts on the last day of the season needing a win to finish 2nd.

Yep agree completely, like others I'm not convinced at all that Silva will score many for us but would offer much more of an attacking threat on the right hand side than either McCausland or Wright.

A night where 'a wins a win' just wasn't going to cut it, a chance missed to make a huge statement by going top. A combination probably of poor / panicky finishing, wrong decisions and bad luck, also Ross County defenders throwing themselves in front of everything as if their lives depended on it, which they clearly don't do every week given their league position and drubbing off Motherwell last week. Still, the momentum continues and Cortes in particular looks like he could have a big influence on the rest of the season.

If Pochettino gets binned then Rodgers will be pulling his trousers down, bending over and offering himself to Boehly within minutes. Doubt even they'd be stupid enough to take him but you never know with Chelsea these days.

Thank fuck. That was a slog but we all know there's players at the club that should be nowhere need the squad let alone the starting line up, so hopefully we'll step up a level in performance once the new signings settle in. Two tough away games to come back to after the winter break, six points, four scored and none conceded, I'd have happily taken that. -

I honestly think a lot of that stems from Goldson. He just seems so shaky these days when put under pressure especially by a physical opponent and it starts affecting everyone around him. -

I just can't understand at all why four Rangers managers have deemed him worthy of game time and yet when we were practically giving him away the only team interested were the Turkish equivalent of Partick Thistle. -

I'm not a fan of the Goldson / Souttar partnership at all, there's a far better balance when Balogun is the left sided CH. -

Would like to see that frame again as it looked at least in line to me, even going by the lines on the pitch, but that VAR line had him off by half a yard. Didn't look right to me at all. -

Fair play to the lad, he's looking much slimmer and fitter than when he joined and that was a confident finish. Could easily finish the season with 20 goals which for all the ridicule would be a pretty decent return. -

I was just away to post I'd have Cantwell off at half time! 😄 Two superb finishes tonight, proper clean strikes of the ball which has been one of our biggest weaknesses for years, so hopefully a sign of hard work on the training field paying off. -
No team in the world can afford to have 3 of your front 4 offering zero goal threat at all. Sima was off it today but has shown previously he has something to offer with better players around him. Upgrade Dessers, McCausland and Cantwell in January and we still have a good chance this season and I suspect that's exactly what Clement is planning to do.
