Brought this up with my mate( who works for the Sun in London ) he said the Scottish edition has nothing to do with his office and is totally different-asked him why anti GB etc views are not highlighted he says he has no control over the editorial decisions for the Scottish sun. Basically the Sun in Scotland has nobody looking at the bias or otherwise.

Campaign for Dunny to be Knighted
KaiserJon replied to 4MenHadADream's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Dunny you must have a contact(obviously) but do you not 'expose' your contact by posting? Reason I ask is I have a friend who is a news desk editor of a national paper and I was fed some stuff about John Terry and his shagging around-put it up on the 'other' board, with his knowledge I had done so, and it was up and people saw it#, 3 hours later its 'official'. Got a quiet word from my mate not to post that sort of thing before it was 'breaking'-3 hours ahead was too far ahead to not have a 'source'. Anyway just asking, not about your 'source' mind. #Was ripped down and got an email to ask for sources-when it went official it stayed up! The people who questioned me don't know me or 99.9% of the posters so the source thing sometimes does my nut in-I am in London know people who work for x,y and z paper, they have no way of 'verifying' that! Oh but I can say that Evra of Man Utd and his agent or whatever hired two whores and ended up paying the girls after they spent most of the time watching the two men shag -

Does All This Not Show We Can Get Into the English Pyramid

English teams would not want us( My opinion overall is they are shit scared if allowed in the EPL we would show the likes of anyone bar Man Utd what a 'big' team is in terms of support and after a while the draw of a club our size attracting players with the wages we could offer on top of the stature of our club ) -
What's your favourite part of a Saturday at Ibrox?
KaiserJon replied to Essandoh's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Not been able to attend as before but when I went all over and had the season ticket used to love the buzz of knowing no matter what I would have 'my' seat. Used to sit alongside a few oldish guys, took me a while to earn the trust(I have a home counties English accent) but once I did was cracking. The 'smell' of a day at Ibrox is another thing-badly explained I know but the whole bustle and feeling of a common bond. Used to always go to the Neptune before and then the Clachan and then off up the road, also as many have said the view of Ibrox( Even though we have all seen it before ) is always a sight to behold! -
Anyone any idea if I can see us playing when away in Tunisia late September(long shot loyal)

There are always players who are part of teams that are 'functional' to take it to to the high level Deschamp(e) The water carrier or similar as all he did was hold and then pass-nothing fancy but functional. Hell if you asked the Brazil 70 boys they would have a functional player.

So catching up on this you are a drunk if you disagree with the sceptical poster? Magic I disagree with him also but am actually drunk.

Thats the thing-when a season ticket holder knows he is away for a game give it to another fan-if you don't know anyone give it to the guy who runs the local bus. When I had my season ticket hated having it empty and would make sure it was a seat used.

Good words and a good guy by all accounts. Neil has detractors but I always find him fair and straight to the point when it matters wither we have won or lost.

Will the trawlermen be there? Copied and posted this from another thread 3 years back................. I dont know if this has been posted before but I thought i'd share with you a pleasing observation I made whilst watching an episode of 'Trawlermen' a few days back. One of the main fishing boats being used in the filming is called 'The New Dawn' and is skippered by a guy I think called 'Chad or Chas'. The fishing fleet is from Fraserburgh I think ? Ive watched several previous episodes featuring this crew and always thought this 24 year old Scottish skipper was a cool wee guy. Anyway during this latest episode I started wondering if he was a Rangers man as something about him gave that impression. During his assessment of one of the latest disappointing hauls of prawns he said ' No Surrender ' in the context of not giving in to the bad fishing. This was further evidence to support my suspicions. About 5 minutes later all was confirmed as while the camera scanned across the deck I noticed something that looked familiar on the side of the wheel house. Having the luxury of 'Sky plus' I hit rewind and then paused at the right moment. There proudly emblazoned on the wall was a mural/crest consisting of a Saltire, Ulster flag, Union Jack and inner badge with Rangers logo which read - Dave Smith Loyal . Fraserburgh - . I dont know what it is but there is something pretty satisfying with such discoveries. Perhaps some of the boys on here know him or the Dave Smith Loyal crew ? Good show for anyone who hasn't seen it before and if you do get the chance look out for our brothers on the waves. A fine looking club shield it is too
