Some people calling Pepe a scumbag are hialrious. Lafferty has dived like that before And if Diouf had stamped on Scott Browns hand, he would have become a hero. Infact he became a hero for spitting in a fans face.
Everyone else has had their opinion on this so here's mine If you look at the deal closely, our bid could end up making Utd more than the Blackburn. The add on fee's only come into play if the player does significantly well I.e a certain amount of goals/international apps. It is highly likely that he would score alot more up here than down there, therefore mor likely Utd will recieve the add ons. Another point is the sell on fee. As we all know every player at our club has a price and if Goodwillie had 2-3 good years up here he could be sold on then to a premiership club for a higher fee. If Utd were to put a 20% sell on fee and we sold him for £5-6 million, that would make up the difference of ours and Blackburns offer. Blackburn are likely to be relegated therefore the chances if a high sell on fee are low. They are also a club who are in a shambolic state from the manager to the owners. Shite stadium, shite fans. If only Utd and Goodwillie's agent could see the benefits of keeping the player in Scotland and that the Utd-Gers deal is perfect for all parties involved including the player himself . In relation to Whyte, Smith and co. I believe they thought a deal could be struck at a significantly lower price than Utd were asking for and were always going to match the £2 million from any bidding clubs, knowing that goodwillies loyalties to us would win him over. Only now, the situation has changed with the temptation of the EPL and the higher offer. Everything now relies on the player and if he wants to play for the most successful team in the world, where he will play regular football and be under the constant radar of Craig Levein, or scrap it out for a place in an average English club likely to be relegated. Rangers should release a new tv show called 48 where Jack Bower is played by Craig Whyte and instead of him having to save the world from some bullshit he must just do paperwork
