Chris, you knew what was in front of you when you raised your head up and spoke up for Rangers, lots on here couldn't do that, NO one should be giving personal abuse to another human being never mind a fellow Bear.
I would support you still posting on RM and hope you could occasionally do a Q&A session .
Actually I didn't. I was aware I'd get plenty from tims, never in a million years did I think I'd get the same (and it often is indistinguishable) from bears.

You at least alluded to where you sit because we've discussed previously why you've never taken the chance to challenge some club employees directly. I think you actually were very specific about being in the Members. Again you assume wrongly where something has come from.
You seem to have plenty time to post on here and other forums. If you are so concerned would you not want to do something more constructive? I just don't get it. Anyway it's not a good idea to make allegations at the behest of others or on inaccurate information.

So I shouldn't express my opinion of the abuse on here on Twitter? This is an open forum, anyone including non members can read it. I often get Tims sending me screenshots of things said on here, pishing themselves laughing at the abuse I've taken from a small group of posters. But you think I shouldn't comment on it anywhere?
The simple solution is for the personal abuse to stop and then there will be nothing to discuss. I'm happy to argue a point with anyone but I'll comment on people personally abusing me and others wherever I like.

I have voiced my opinions about what I think is occurring.
I know of no forces working clandestinely, they are all out in the open.
I've made no snide digs. For example I had a long convo with frankie re blin and Stockbridge where he had to admit he knew nothing of business or dealt with with man and made his opinion upon what blue dell and boss thought. It's mental.
Folk are commenting on things they haven't understanding of.
And I haven't insinuated anything. You may have inferred it though.
Lastly I think you want what is best for rangers I happen to think that what you want is the worst thing for rangers.
There lies the rub.
I want no one from the previous regime involved.
If we can discard Paul Murray and blin and McColl preclude him from anything then I'd be happy to see how things develop.
If we could get someone to make some savage cuts and run the place as a business they would get my full support.
I am not fascinated at all. I'm just asking why you won't step up to lend your experienced voice to the argument you want to put forward? You personally attack other people and claim they are all working together to the detriment of the club but your only response to that is to post those personal attacks on an internet forum. Why not do something more constructive? You've said you are in the Members. Why not go round and get support of other well off Rangers fans for your approach and make a difference? Have you tried?

I have seen many quotes from your Twitter feed etc., saying that you will not be bothering with this place any more. You then come back, when a big news item is released. You are entitled to be on RM, don't get me wrong, but I would rather see you support the site externally if you plan to stay.
Every forum needs characters and some are prone to heated debates more than others, with RM being no exception, and as you seem to have ruffled a few feathers in your time don't be surprised with some of the heated questions thrown at you, just ignore them. Journalists and bloggers cannot have the same opinion as all, so you are always going to get push back; coming to terms with it is your challenge.
That's a fair point. I had decided not to post anymore mainly because I thought my absence might stop the constant personal attacks. It's clear that isn't the case though since, if anything, they got worse when I wasn't here. I don't agree with the personal abuse that is allowed on here and the constant shouting down of anyone with an opinion different to a certain group of posters but that is up to admin. If they want to allow it then I'll reserve the right to criticise that approach. I am far from alone in that criticism.

I didn't say all at RM were wankers. However I think I've made my feelings about a group of posters on here pretty clear. Just my opinion of course. Given some of the personal abuse that's allowed on here I'd find it pretty odd if someone on the moderator team was getting precious about that comment.

If you started your own forum, The Fury Zone ©, and charged a nominal fee you'd make enough to buy Rangers ten times over. Some just can't get enough of you.
I'm taking notes here. If I added that vast income to all the money I'm getting from the BBC and the Daily Record, and got Ian Black to stick a bet on for me, then I could retire!

Forums have always had pseudonyms you are the exception rather than the rule.
You seem to think it gives your view more validity because we know who you are whereas it does nothing of the sort. I am no one of any consequence apart from a supporter of The Rangers.
Couple of points what you would call allegations I would refer to as observations I.e. I make statements based upon what I witness then add in what I have seen in RL to give me a basis for what I type.
They are my opinion, not fact, my opinion.
I comment on areas where I have experience (business) and areas where I have none (riding Kelly brook), it makes not one jot of difference whether you know me as host or my real name.
Just as everyone else who posts are giving their opinion.
You accept it or treat it as trash.
My view is at least consistent. It maybe, in your eyes wrong but at least it's consistently wrong
You've made several allegations. You have presented them as fact. If you are so so concerned about the actions of "people like me" and you believe I am working to the detriment of the club then why don't you have the courage of your convictions and put your name to those allegations? You've insinuated many times that you are a successful businessman, that you know what you are talking about and you've made snide digs about other people's credentials to speak about board room matters and the like.
Why don't you step out into the light and make your allegations with the weight of your experience and track record behind you?
I just can't fathom why anyone who felt such forces were working clandestinely to harm the club by hoodwinking fans wouldn't speak up?

Why are you constantly vanishing and coming back? I have supported from day dot but I am getting sick of all the arguing on here. In case you have not noticed, our club is heading in a downward spiral and fans arguing internally is not the right thing to do.
I totally agree. I don't post much on forums but I'm not sure what you mean about me vanishing and coming back?

Because if you are then why don't you do it and lend them some credibility? And if not then why? You seem confident you know exactly what is going on.

As others have already pointed out, the BBC pay expenses if you are on a panel show either on TV or radio. From memory I've done that 3 times over the past 2 years. All prior to the BBC ban by the club. Since then I have turned them down several times (5+) because the club banned them. They don't pay expenses for news interviews or anything else to my knowledge.
STV don't pay anything for panel shows or interviews which, being the place I have appeared most frequently, is disappointing! I'd imagine overall that I'm actually out of pocket given the number of times I've had to drive into town to do interviews or appear on shows. Still I won't complain because I think it was important to try to challenge some of the misconceptions in the media. Hopefully anyone who actually listened to the stuff on the BBC or STV would agree that it was worthwhile.
I'm aware of a few people suggesting I've been paid by the Daily Record. That's simply a lie. I've also noted people saying I've leaked to the Daily Record. That's also a lie. I'm aware where the rumours started and exactly who has perpetuated them and why. At some point that will be coming back to bite them hard but there is no rush.
There are considerably more important things happening at the club at the moment and this thread being top of this board on a day like today is an indication of just how determined a small group of posters are to constantly attack those who don't agree with their point of view. It's not just me but obviously they have a particular dislike of my refusal to tow their line. That was clearly- demonstrated by WVB's rant about me refusing to bring up child abuse live on STV on a show about Rangers.
I'm not going to comment everytime one of these posters makes up another baseless rumour. It's not worth it because they have demonstrated previously that they will just move onto something else. This is the last time I'll be commenting on any of this pish. I have no wish to take topics on this board off track constantly and that appears to happen every time I defend myself against the latest slur.

Of all the things we should be giving a shit about Chris/Fury isn't one of them. With no offence intended towards Chris at all.
The club is in a bad way just now, yet folk would rather chase someone around for reasons only known to themselves. It's embarrassing.
I could care less if he is being paid by the bbc, why shouldn't he? If he is doing interviews and the like, then why shouldn't he?
As a support we have our priorities mixed up completely and it's embarrassing.

So to summarise....I'm leaking info to the Daily Record (and may be getting paid by them to do so), on the BBC payroll, laughing at disability and working for Mark Dingwall? These have all been presented as fact. Have I missed anything?
Just as well there is nothing else going on today.....
Oh and thanks to those who have been attempting to introduce some sanity to this thread and others I've made the mistake of posting on today. Very much appreciated.

I wasn't having a dig at you and I am aware that you toe the party line in the RST, I was merely looking for clarification.
What seriously annoys me about such statements is that they are released giving the impression that the RSA, Assembly and RST are representative of the entire support when that is clearly not the case. If the 3 groups would actually poll their memberships it would be a start in the right direction. It would also help if they actually stated that they only represent their own groups and not the entire support.
They do state that, at least the Trust certainly do. I think your issue might lie with the Assembly since they are meant to be the overarching fan group for the entire support but have been posted almost completely missing over the past two years. I am all for the type of membership scheme discussed briefly at the fan meeting the other night. It's important to have a strong supporter group to represent people not interested in fan ownership or shares. No reason why a membership scheme can't replace the Assembly and provide a strong democratic voice for the support.

As long as Easdale is chairman and can keep out the penniless riff-raff it won't be too bad. However, should murray get anywhere near that board you and "your lot" will be complicit in the demise of RFC.
