People need to realise where we are at the moment, even boyd in the spl what's the problem? It's a no brainer he scores goals, goals win games, all this about Clark won't get a look in now that's simply because he isn't good enough... Simple

Would his goals fire us back to the top of the SPL, baring in mind he cant buy a goal against better teams??
Not saying we wouldnt, but id much rather have him than clark or daly, boyd is a proven goal scorer in the spl even in a poor kilmarnock side

Boyd's scored nearly 200 goals in Scottish football and at this moment in time that's the only statistic aross his career that should matter because we aren't in Europe and we aren't going to be playing in England, America or Turkey any time soon either. In the country we play in and at a comparable level to what we are playing at he's a goal machine, there's no two ways about it.
We need more of a goal threat than we have just now and you need more than two strikers or three strikers to see you through a season. Going into the season with Miller, Boyd, Clark & Gallagher would be perfectly fine. Daly I'm indifferent about, if he's there he's there but I would rather he was moved on.
Of all the players we are being linked with he's the one that makes the most sense to me and he's the one I hope we get.
