  1. Listened to about 4 different podcasts when we appointed him with Feyenoord fans who were invited on to get a scope into what kind of manager he is.
  2. I can’t even imagine how crazy Ibrox will be if we get turned over on January 2nd with him still here.
  3. This hope from the board that a few players return from injury and we miraculously become a force again is proper winding me up. That to me confirms what all of our eyes are seeing week after week that there’s no collective system in place to deliver success, and instead relies on individuals to deliver moments of magic to win games. For as good a signing as Tom Lawrence looked in his early appearances, does his return mean we completely shift from a horseshoe, turgid style of play to a team that entertains the fans & merits the spending of hard earned money that the supporters shell out? Not a chance. This is his style, it was the same dross at Feyenoord as it is here. His shite yesterday about us losing the league from a 6 point head start last season nearly sent me to the drink. That’s the sort of insanity you’d expect to hear on Clyde SSB. There is NOTHING to suggest we can shorten the 7 point gap never mind overtake it. Cannot wait till the guy is away.
  4. In an alternate world where we had a board & director of football who didn’t repeatedly fail at their jobs, this winter break would have us with a new manager having effectively a pre season to assess his squad & strengthen where he deems necessary in the Jan window, but it won’t be. Instead it’ll be Gio & his team probably doing crossing drills in training every day, and then January hits where we’ve got celtic followed by Tannadice & Rugby Park, after which he’ll likely be sacked as we’ll be lucky to come away with 3 points from those at this rate. Every breathing person can see this happening except those in charge. Christ it’s fucking depressing man. Haven’t answered your question about what the actual setup is but just completely scunnered with the entire thing & needed to vent, apologies.
  5. This. No coincidence our unbeaten season was when Clive Tyldesley replaced that muppet.
  6. We need freshened up as well. A new manager with his own ideas. This team has ran its course & new blood is needed in the summer when we lose about 10 players who are out of contract. If we extend any of the contracts of Mcgregor, Arfield & Davis again then we’d be as well just pulling the shutters down & calling it a day.
  7. Be amazed if you make it past the 15 second mark before passing out same as the rest of us mate.
  8. Reason he left. Wanted to ‘fix the roof while the sun was shining’ & asked for Veerman/Skov Olsen & was given Bacuna/Fashion. Nothing has changed at boardroom level so why on earth are folk even mentioning his name. Honestly man 😂
  9. Yep. Wanting all this time to turn it around now when our rivals are accelerating at an alarming rate and we just sit still. Always the same,
  10. Agree with all of this to a tee. Can add Livingston to that point at the bottom. This side hammered the third best team in the country last month in their own back yard. Like you say irrespective of injuries, the squad will always be far far superior to the cannon fodder in this league, yet we look on par.
  11. An absolute joke to give him time just cos Gerrard eventually got us the title. Who knows what would’ve happened if Covid wasn’t a thing. And at least we as a support bought into what Gerrard tried to do. I remember being devastated that Hearts cup defeat when it looked like he was gone. Didn’t feel anything yesterday other than hoping it would end. Been that way for months now.
  12. You’d think so. Then again being the worst ever team in the Champions League & failing to win must win games against Livi/St Johnstone didn’t cut it so who fuckin knows.
  13. The fact he even uttered the phrase ‘keep the zero’ in Scottish fitba says it all really.
  14. Correct mate. We all love this club but we’re gonny end up making ourselves ill at this rate. The guys in the board ultimately are the only ones who can implement the change that’s so blindingly obviously needed, and they seem to look on and think everything’s sound. Just like they did after beating PSV. You’ve nailed it.
  15. Not even letting myself get remotely excited about this. Just shows what the club means to him.
  16. That mob first broke the story of the Luis Enrique/Messi training fight but then last night said Enrique was in his final hours & would be sacked... Still there this morning.
  17. Interview with him a few months ago on Revista De La Liga.
  18. I think he has potential but I agree, not really the type of player we need.
  19. Great gesture! Always good to see the heros in the stands.
  20. Seriously just get him to fuck, hes been a good player for us but if hes turning down that kind of dosh then dont let the door hit you on the way out
  21. I don't see what the fuss is about him, IMO hes a very average player, certainly not a £4m player. When we play them in old firm games I really dont see what he offers them in the middle of the park, well definetely not what he should offer at that price.
  22. Chelseas form dipped so much when got sacked. Whether he wants to even do business again with Chelsea will be another matter.
  23. I'd seriously love Man City to come up against Barca. Like someone said up top, they are a squad of individuals. Barca would absolutely destroy them. They work as a unit and would just pick them apart so easily like they did against the English champions this season
