Brian has indeed after 14 years stopped hosting the Champion League on TV3+ here in Denmark as of yesterday. Hes keeping tight lipped over what hes up to next but I very much doubt its anything to do with us. Brilliant bloke is Brian, great sense of humour and always bigging up Rangers at every chance. Very disapointing wife mind.

What about a Rangers Summer Fayre on the pitch at Ibrox including penalty taking against Peter McCloy £5 each or £20 for 5, wet sponge throwing at Ally the gaffer £3 a go with normal water and £22 with a liquid of your own choice, blue rinse permanent hairdo stall with the lovely wife of Robert Prytz £19, egg and spoon race hosted by Kirk Broadfoot £1 with own egg and 3 legged race with Lorenzo Amaruso and Basil Boli £10 per team. Alternately we could offer dinner dates with a members of the Rangers ladies team from 50p depending on fitness.

Ian Black will be a sensation at Rangers.Not sure about Beattie though but if he keeps fit he will be easily good enough for the lower divisions.

Rangers have to be playing this season or we are dead. All the people who want us to to take a year out or reject the sanctions have got to get their head on. Neil fucking Lennon. Nobody ever beats Celtic fairly. The refs a cheat its a personal attack on his fair self or any other lie that he can dream up to mask the fact that his team are pish.The most unlikeable person ever to grace Scottish football.

Rangers and Celtic would do well in the Premiership but the other teams would struggle. Then again if you gave Aberdeen or Hearts 40 million a year in TV money I wouldnt imagine they would be much worse than Wigan or Stoke. The TV deal in Scotland is crap and why the clubs accept it is mindblowing.Denmark which has the same population as Scotland pays 3 times as much and they have no match that sells internationally as the Old firm does.We just take anything thats flung at us and its about time that Rangers stand up and refuse to sign a new deal that will give us less than were worth.

As star8 says it is remarkable that Scottish football continues to get the crowds at we do. It is down to the Old Firm though. Apart from Hearts it looks like our teams are losing their following. Aberdeen going down to 8000 9000 thousand,whats that all about,well apart from being shite and horrible fuckers in to the bargain.

Spurs and Arsenal are great football teams but they dont win. Man U and Chelsea are not great on the eye but they win matches and I would imagine that Rangers would do the same.

Obviously there are more teams that can beat each other but I dont think that the gap is as big as were told. Jelavic is the perfect example. You get goals in Scotland you will get goals in England. I have no interest in Steven Naismith going down south but he would be a revelation. Probably not at West Brom mind.

It just shows how shit our fanbase is. Going on minus 18 is a hardness in its self but I welcome the match. Rangers fans are not really longer on this place its full of 15 year olds who have no reality.

reading through the posts and someone mentioned Ian Black. I would sign him. Hes a hard bastard and a decent football player and its just what we need.

Ex tim but I wouldnt hold that against him. Tidy player who looks good at St Mirren and as is such would be good at Rangers. I would imagine that whoever takes over we wont have cash to splash so its the type of player we should be looking at.

I was at the Hamburg match and to be frank it was a bit embarresing. Its a great stadium and all that and one I´ve been in before abeit only for the stadium tour but do you think if HSV really had strong links with Rangers only 12000 would have turned up? The real reason we´re linked with them is is probably because of the Scum/St Pauli scum thing. HSV fans hate St Pauli and therfor must be mad Rangers fans.

The game was believe it or not live on Danish TV. Watched it here with my son and it filled me with pride to be a part of the Rangers family. We ve had some great players over time and it was great that so many of them took time to play tonight but for me it was the fans who made really made this evening.

An example of the wages we were giving out in the 90s is that Jonas Thern said that if he put all the contacts he had together, it wouldn´t match the offer he got from Rangers. For a guy who had played at Benfica and Roma its a bit of a statement. He also added at the time that he had no interest in playing in Scottish football but the money involved made the offer impossible to turn down. Ronald De Boer signed for Rangers instead of Man U because we offered him 5 grand more and hey the golf courses are much better in Scotland. We spunked far too much money on players who couldn´t care less.

We were paying as much if not more than the top English clubs hence we could sign English internationals but the money wasn´t anywhere near to what players earn today. By the 90s we were paying serie A wages and insuch we could bring in Miko, Laudrup and Gazza. When Brian signed for Rangers the Danish press reckoned he was on 6 grand a week and by the time he left 4 years later he was supposedly on 30. Thats some wage hike. It was the time when Sky money was flooding English football and we tried to keep up which in hindsight probably wasn´t the smartest move.

Paul Murray is the saviour. 1 pound should get the deal done and its all onwards and upwards from here.

Craig Whyte has got to fuck off back to the stone that he lives under. I have worked for the inland revenue and if they get their teeth in to something they dont let go. The mismanagement of our club stems back to Murray but to hand over the club to Whyte with his history is folly. The guy is a cheat and how the fuck he got control of Rangers when his only idea was to strip us of our well being and history is shocking.

Ive always liked him. To be fair he was a total diddy last year but everything was overstated. The pelters that Mo had to put up with were shocking and some of the elements in our support should hang their heads in disgrace. Slaging a guy who was trying to do his best.

talking about scaping the barrel but on the bright side he cant be a worse option than Healy. He couldnt leave quick enough the last time he was here and it stinks of desperation but I suppose thats the time we live in sadly. I cant help but think that asking Mark Hateley back although hes touching 70 might be a better idea. Hes a definate Bear and his haircut is far better now than it was in the 90s.

sasa is to only guy that needs to stay out of this. Do we need a striker yes but do we need to slag Sasa Papac no. Sasa is the only guy that has turned in an a consistantly decent performance in the last 6 years at this club. Anyone that feels the need to slag him knows nothing about our club. Guys like Steven Davis who turn up once in every 10 games are the people we should be focusing on.
