I've just seen this bigot on Stv News down at the Westminster parliament . How the fuck has he not been sacked ???

Im the OP and I'm not making up this to look like a know all. The circumstances I learned this was during a corporate golf day where I was paired in a four ball one being the lawyer in question who told me about Bobos duel contract. His source ?? He wrote it for Balde ( yes he was his lawyer at the time ) and also told me he phoned Celtic during the original who ha about Rangers to remind them of this arrangement ( if you had not guessed he is a true blue nose ) . I asked him why he did not go to press and he told me he could not due to confidentiality clause etc. Now I regard this lawyer as a friend now and I'm not going to name him and put his professional reputation on line but Iv no reason to believe he would make all this up as he is successful enough in his own right and I can't see why he would boast about something like that to me during a game of golf ??

Iv heard from a very reliable source Bobo Baldie had a duel contract. This having come from a lawyer conected with him does not allow him/ her to go public due to legal confidential red tape. Iv heard Celtic admitting they had one with other high profile player but this is a first for me about Baldie. Which brings me to a other thought. When they signed Keene were they a ll not bumming Dermot Desmond was topping up his wages out his personal money ??? Is that not a duel contract and was tax paid ???

Each day you think it can't get any worse and wo an behold another kick in the nuts happens. Well Iv hit a new low today and am almost resigned to thinking we would be just be as well accepting a year of no football , allowing us to take stock , get in a Rangers owner or owners who love the club as much as us the fans , starve Scottish football of tv revenue our fans money and more importantly explore every last option of where we could play. Right now I'd opt for anywhere on the planet rather than Scotland. During the last couple of weeks the taigs in my work have been non stop gloating about the inevitable liquidation of our club. It got to a point it's all they fucking talk about, what happens when this happens that happens bla bla .. The glee in their voices has turned my stomach. However a funny thing happened today just around mid afternoon the conversations started to sound a bit panicky. How can they possibly form a new Co , what about Ticketas , what about the big tax case ? Oh I feel worry ..........creeping in .....

That's my point to a degree as we haven't been marketed yet in the USA but if we were it could be massive. Soccer is on up in America and they hate been considered as a mino in any thing so the feeling I got when I was out there few months ago that they want to progress rapidly.

Wonder how much tv income would be alone if he set up a tv channel plugging the club with the USA players. His big trucks with the stars and stripes and RFC on the sides !!! It goes on and on !! Maybe that's what he sees buying Rangers is all about making millions for him and the club ???

Was thinking about the sheer scale of possible new income if Bill Miller markets Rangers well in America . I was in New York recently and speaking to a few locals who were quite knowledgable about "soccer" in general and declared they thought the USA would be a world force within 10 years the way the sport is developing over there. What they didn't seem to be readily aware of that the current USA captain plays for the famous Glasgow Rangers or does Edu. Now I'm thinking Jesus once Mr Miller starts advertising ( have you seem his present truck commercials) the world brand of RFC there must be millions and millions of untapped revenue . Always knew Sandy was in league above " the greatest ever Ranger" and often tell mates of a fairly recent incident which confirmed it. It was the night of Fakirk cup game through in Falkirk. I was in a party of 10 blue noses who had a hospitality package and it was one of my pals dads 80 th birthday who was also with us . AlexTotten ( a true gent ) popped into our room to shake the old boys hand and congratulate him on his grand old age etc . He then told old Peter he would get a couple of Rangers legends to pop in and get his photo with him. Sandy Jardine was first and shook old Peters hand and chit chatted to him about grand old days of yone , posed for photos with him and signed his programme. Nothing was too much to ask as various members of the group asked for photos and signatures etc. However old Peters hero was none other than " our greatest ever Ranger" and his eyes lit up as Alex Totten returned with him to meet him and hopefully get a quick snap on a camera phone etc. What I witnessed then will always stick in my mind when people talk about the legend that is John Greig . In he stomped obviously irritated he had been dragged along to meet a old codger and pose for the camera. " hurry up he growled" as various people jockeyed to get a snap shot. Quickly put his hand on Peters shoulder and barely spoke a word as the old fella tried to tell him of how he followed him and Rangers through his hay day. " right I'm in a hurry he snapped and disappeared back in the corridor to finish his brandy or what ever he had to leave to meet old Peter. Nobody said a thing but I could feel the disappointment in the room to his attitude towards a old guy who only wanted two minutes to tell his hero how much he adored him then and now. Any way that's just one incident I seen. Maybe he's not really like that and was just having a bad day ( it was before kick off so don't blame the result ) but some how I doubt it as iv heard similar stories from other people about his attitude to fans .

If you know that for sure that is fair enough and answers my original question , (Opening thread). However I would like to hear the situation from the horses mouth. IE the English FA or who ever.... as that would lay it to bed once and for all. But if its possible no matter how slim a chance I for one would perfer to sacrifice say 5 years working way up to even the championship and watch the whole of Scottish football die with out us.

Apologies first as I know this topic has been discussed on other threads . Iv been watching all the events unfold with total horror of last few weeks and have looked for all the glimers of hope that are being posted from time to time. However (alas alas alas)Im now beginning to accept that liquidation looks more and more the likley out come. With this in mind is this now not the time the new owners who ever they may turn out to be should explore every single last possibility about entering the English system at what ever level we could get in.If we are liquidated we are going to have to grovel to the SPL SFA or who ever to get back in and accept all the sanctions they care to put on us. (there will be a few Im in no doubt).Like most people on here I am fearcly prowd of our history and would have perferred to exit administration and remain the exact same club.However if we are going to have to change our name Im 100% certain if I had the choice id perfer to follow our team in England if there was even the slightest possibilty it could happen no matter how far up the lower devisions we would have to start.We may never get this chance again.....!!! I guess my question is this .... What is the liklyhood we could do this as some people on the radio/forums/newspapers are saying it can not happen, some say it could so I really dont know if its a option but wish somebody who 100% knows the true sitiuation would clarify it once and for all. Great post. I read this forum regularly and to be honest I hardly ever make a comment due to some of the bull shit that goes on in it. Im 44 and supported Rangers all my life and to be honest iv experienced the hard times in late 70s early 80s when we regularly got pumped by the sheep and Dundee United and ground was only 25% full. I then gorged on the Souness era and watched the Captain of England and half their squad take the Scottish league by storm followed by Gazza , Laudrup ,Ally , and many many more romp to 9 in a row !! Then I watched the Dutch era and drooled on the likes of Van Bronc , De Boers ,Mols and more recently travelled to Manchester and watched my idols play in a European final !! Now we are here and lm reflecting on what Iv seen , from my mid teens iv seen more success than failure and even at my age have been spoilt on years of mainly winning trophys and championships. Like the poster the last two days iv seen some pretty eye opening behaviour from work colleagues , pals and even clients who work for my organisation . All of them I knew were tims but most I thought were " no that bitter" !! I heard them gathering in the corridors as the news broke , laughing ,mocking ,rejoicing . The ones who admitt to hating Gers funny enough don't bother me , it's the dirty bitter closet ones who are coming out the cracks and woodwork who just can't keep their masks down no longer that turn my stomach to the core !!! I'm now angry with passion and defiance and am like the poster willing all the fans to pull together despite what we feel about who's to blame, ( personally I don't know what to think or who to blame ) . Let's pack Ibrox to the rafters from now till end of the season and show them we really are the people !!!!
