Debating who is better between Matondo and Lawrence says a lot.

Posted in last nights match thread aswell but I thought Sima looked shite again last night. His goalscoring numbers before he got injured were good but his actual play outside of that has always been pretty questionable. I’d sign neither of them for the money their clubs would be expecting

I am so damn tired of seeing passes to nobody, of seeing back and forth head tennis because our back line can’t bring the ball down and settle it, of aimless hoicking the ball up the field to the other keeper, of backwards passes. It’s fucking embarrassing to watch.

Phil it must be obvious that Lawrence and Dowell are way short of the quality, fitness and commitment needed to play for us. Cantwell plays for himself and Lundstram has either downed tools or has some issues. In short our midfield is offering nothing but high blood pressure.

Reportedly on a massive wage as well.
Another player we are stuck with unless we punt him on loan and pick up a decent chunk of his wages in the process.
The money we have spent and invested on players who have provided absolutely no significant return is borderline criminal.

Trying to figure out why we are trying to turn a 30 year old who’s played as a forward for most of his career and missed a full year of football to boot into a centre midfielder. 

The squad is as poor as it has been for 6 years or so. Absolutely shite
