  1. He was a midfielder - in fairness to him and his age (and legs), he's much better suited up front. Don't think he's quite quick enough to play in midfield now, particularly in Scotland where the pace can be higher. Doing a sterling job up front though.
  2. Having Argyriou made a big difference imo. It's a more balanced team sheet with both full backs able to push on. Credit to big Kirk for transferring over but I'm glad in a way to see him leave (with my best wishes and all that). But Argyriou offer more going forward and will improve as time goes on. Great performance tonight, just worried about our next away game as there seems to be a bit of a mental block playing away from home!
  3. Except for the last game.. Was totally bouncing against East Fife. Agree that's unusual though, I sat there a couple of times last season and you could've heard a mouse fart. Hopefully changed days with the atmosphere now though!
  4. Just give me a shout if you hear anything back. I'll logon again tomorrow and see if you've managed to get anywhere! In the meantime, happy to open offers to anyone else (just don't tell the missus...)
  5. That's great news, takes me back to my first game as a wee lad! Will log back on later this evening and see if we can get it all sorted.
  6. Either bank details so I can transfer cash to them or I can pay by Paypal (if they have Paypal - if so, am email address for their Paypal account). Just whatever is easiest. PM me the details and will get cash transferred over.
  7. Wit? She isn't dressed anything like me mate!
  8. Random question - was thinking about going to hospitality for a mates birthday. Anyone know the dress code for the various options? Assume I might need to look out a shirt and tie!?
  9. Just hope someone who maybe hasn't been paid yet / out of work / can't afford it, etc, can take up the offer. Cheers.
  10. Not sure if it's best just to post in here or start a new thread... I'm gutted that I can't make the game due to work commitments but happy to also offer money for 2 tickets and a couple of kids tickets if anyone is in need of them? Can transfer the money via BACS or Paypal, just same as the other posters above. Just send me a PM. Cheers, Andy
  11. I watched a load of games last season on RTV (used a VPN so they didn't realise I was in the UK.. Very naughty). Main problem will be games where there is no OB. RTV simply took a feed from whoever was covering the game (Sky, ESPN, Setanta, etc), rebranded it and added their own commentary. Not sure if the viewership is there to cover OB costs but I'd love to see it, particularly for away games. If there is no licensing in place for our SFL games, it'd be easier for RTV to do a UK broadcast. I just hope that, if they show the games, Bears use RTV rather than dodgy streams online - more money into the club.
  12. I'd be really worried about this - we have a barebones squad and unlikely to be in a position to invest heavily in that particularly given the timescales we're talking about getting players in. It's a joke really, the longer this drags on the worse a position we're into - can't sell season tickets til we know what league we're playing in, can't recruit players, feck knows how the backroom team are coping with pre-season work!
  13. I struggled through - more given the time of night! It's worth a read though, so persevere.
