Former Tottenham target, Glasgow Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra, is wanted by Serie A side Roma. The Italian club are preparing to lose Phillipe Mexes in January and they see the former Charlton player as a suitable replacement. Reports in Italy claim Rangers will receive an £8m bid for the Algerian and then look to bring in AC Milan defender Onyewu Oguchi, who has fallen out of favour at the San Siro to fill Bougherra's place. MADJID BOUGHERRA insists Rangers will hold on to their SPL crown if they come out on top in the Old Firm showdowns. And the Algerian defender is determined to strike a blow in the title race by helping Gers claim a massive win at Parkhead today.
