No manager in history gets it right 100% - what sets aside real fans/professional footballers and top managers is how they deal with defeat. Any arsehole can go along and support a team that wins everything all the time...god knows the game is full of glory hunters. I do think he was negative but that got us to a UEFA Cup Final. Anyone that grew up in the 70's will find this kind of chat all too typical of the modern day fans who to be fair thought 9-in-a-row was the norm...what it was, was a set of world class players backed to the hilt financially. So I'm not denying anyone a go, my tuppence worth is anyone is flawed but Walter, as indeed any Rangers man, deserves respect even in harsh criticism - what is there left to support if we call every player player who has an off day or manager who gets it wrong a cu*t? I do think he got it wrong on Sunday by the way but the atmosphere was bloody tremendous.
