Ffs I thought he just had his ban. I'm floored with the lurgy but thinking back now I can't remember the last time I seen him play.

He was wearing a protective boot when he came on to the pitch at the weekend at full time so doesn't look good

Dunno, but it seems like we must spend a chunk of time practicing throwing the ball to Tav just so he can take a shite throw-in!  Think I saw it about 5 times today.  The one time Dessers actually took it, he fucked it up too!

Aye and it's just the same throw in 90% of the time, straight to the closest player who kicks it straight back at Tav who turns and plays it back to Goldson, to Souttar...

  3. 99% of our throw ins are the exact same, a full back throws it to a player really close, who hits it straight back to the full-back who then panics at the pressure from the opposition and turns backwards. That's when it works, when it doesn't  the pass back is knocked out the park despite being about 2 yards away at most. Very rarely do we do anything creative or attacking with a throw in.

Agree with many of the comments, but you can't sack someone from a job for this surely?

    edit - as in legally.

He'd only been with us since July 2021. Under 2 years you can pretty much get sacked for any reason the employer wants and there's nothing you can do unless it's due to a protected characteristic like age, gender, sexuality, disability...

Could tav play for Scotland at this point? Been up here a while.

Not under the current rules. We used to have a "gentleman's agreement" between all the home nations FA's that they wouldn't call up players from another part of the UK who were eligible only by virtue of playing and living in the country for 5 years (I think it is, but it might actually only be 2 under the current rules for territories with a common nationality) but around 2009/10 the latest agreement that said the home nations wouldn't use that rule was ratified by FIFA so it's now part of FIFA's eligibility rules. I'm sure we could ask that to change again though.

I'm not even shocked anymore. We constantly see this level of incompetence from the referees.

Will VAR change it? I doubt it

Not initially, the likes of Collum can't admit when they get things wrong. I guarantee when VAR comes in he'll be the first to have a controversial incident where VAR shows a blatant foul and he'll go against it rather than acknowledge he missed it.
