if you watch the top teams like arsenal, the play is fluid because they play fast two touch football at a fairly close range. the ball comes to a player and its instantly under control and passed right away to an open player who is close and in space. its not fucking rocket science. we play this way rarely. money has fucked us up with getting laudrups and gazzas and hately's. but this fluid kind of game doesn't require the best players in the world - train players to control a ball at their feet quicky and pass it fast and accurately short distances. and train receiving players to and move into open spaces in support. even mediocre players like whittaker (sorry bro)can do this if its constantly practiced at training - ferguson does it with likes of nevilles and o'shea's ffs defensively every top team has players right on top of and in the face of any player who crosses the half way line - and that cunt lennon's got his wankers doing it now. rangers play one man up front and yet still have defenders backtracking and giving the player more than a yard to make his move. you can't do that in today's game. you have to shut them down right away. and that's why the wengers and the fergusons play so much two touch and one touch football because it's the best counter for such defensive tactics.

jela is a first class player all right. with diouf workin and providing for him and naisy breaking from midfield - well, it'd be formidable especially with attacks concentrated thru the middle of their weak central defenders.

if you are looking for a referee to protect diouf or any rangers player from intent to injure tackles from now till the end of the season then you better not hold your fucking breath coz its not going to fuckin happen, especially against lennon's psychos - brown and kayal. so what the fuck do you do? firstly, diouf, or whatever player gets it, cannot react angrily directly to the ref- coz he will be carded. the two nearest players must get in the referees face objecting to the foul. secondly, the next time the player who committed the foul touches the ball then the closest player to him gets right fuckin in to him with a foul. most rangers players don't do this because they haven't been told to - watch ferguson's teams or any top spanish or italian team's reaction to a team mate getting fucked - teammates don't put up with it. when mackie, who had already broken another players leg, tried to break diouf's teammate's leg he got right fuckin into him, as he fuckin should have. great teams are composed of players who look after each other on the park. they do not sit back and wait for one guy like mcculloch to look after things. and thridly, we the supporters have a responsiblity to give the ref and the player pelters constantly during the game until proper calls are made. and we do what this post does - we expose the injustice on forums, on the radio, on the tv, in newspapers, in phone ins. if this isn't done then diouf and other players we will be kicked off the fuckin park from now until the end of the season. and it will cause us to lose players to injury which will cost us the league and two cups. you may not have noticed but the celtic PR job on referees has paid off. look at the fucking sending off of the aberdeen player in the first two minutes of their last game. if there's no response or strategy to counter it then we are well and truly fucked.

mackie was looking to break a leg tackling diof's team mate and got his own leg broke. mackie had already broke ridgewell's leg in a horrendous tackle. no one knew the leg was broken including the trainers who tried to stand him up. diouf supported his team mates, letting mackie know he deserved what he got - i don't call that abuse on such a player - i call it a lecture. uncalled for abuse is what diouf is getting for an understandable reaction. if neil simpson had broken his oown leg when going into the tackle with durrant there would have been a few rangers players over him telling him he got what he deserved.
