  1. Abraham has been on the decline for a few years now. A rematch with Stieglitz seems to be his only viable option just now but I'm still hopeful we'll see him fight Sturm. Would have been a better fight when they both held titles at middleweight, but given how each fighter has declined it would still make for fun viewing.
  2. Stieglitz stops Abraham in 4. Stunning performance. Wonder if they'll add Groves-Stieglitz on the undercard of Froch-Kessler. Ideally that would happen and make the undercard that little bit more appealing.
  3. Khan's fight with Diaz will be on BoxNation.
  4. Bradley-Provodnikov is the fight of the year so far. Funny, HBO almost pulled the plug on this fight due to the social media backlash the fight received when it was first announced. Thankfully they didn't. I scored it 114-113 for Bradley - although should have been a draw but the ref missed a knockdown in the first.
  5. I'm no Frank Warren fan by any means but seen a lot of fans the past week or two wishing to see his promotional company go bust. That's just crazy.
  6. Lee Selby signs with Matchroom. Dereck Chisora has been re-issued a license and fights on April 20th. I think Khan's fight on April 27th and Mayweather's fight on May 4th are on BoxNation.
  7. Undercards usually start around half 6-7. Televised undercard won't start until after 8 though.
  8. Luke Campbell or Lee Selby. One of them.
  9. Yep that's who I think it will be as well.
  10. Ricky Burns signs with Matchroom. Fights in Glasgow on May 11.
  11. Hopkins took Cloud to school last night.
  12. He'd be better off going to Golden Boy if they're interested in my opinion. Ricky is likely to move up to 140 soon and Golden Boy pretty much control that division.
  13. I reckon Matchroom will have an interest. In an ideal world Golden Boy would be interested and sign him.
  14. Alvarez-Trout on April 20th in Texas. Mares-Ponce De Leon providing chief support for Mayweather-Guerrero on May 4th.
  15. Time for Ricky to seriously consider switching promoters. He's at the stage of his career where he needs/deserves the big fights and it's becoming clear Warren can't/won't deliver them. Vazquez is keen on the fight, but according to what I've been told the money wasn't right and he's said this since the beginning of February. I'll be surprised if this fight happens at all now.
  16. Khan to fight in the UK on April 27th. Think he's fighting Julio Diaz.
  17. Prizefighter is fucking awful. Price getting KO'd is a shock. Thompson, despite only losing to Wladimir, is not very good. To be fair to Price though getting hit behind the ear/neck area is probably one of the worst places to get hit.
  18. Calzaghe wins a wide decision. And Ricky is right, before Hopkins lost to Dawson last year most people did consider him to be one of the top 10 fighters in the world.
  19. Mayweather-Guerrero confirmed for May 4th.
  20. Can't really add any more to one's already suggested, but if you want some recent one's from last year then Brandon Rios vs. Mike Alvarado, Juanma Lopez vs. Orlando Salido and Brian Viloria vs. Hernan Marquez are all worth checking out. If you can also try and watch Kazuto Ioka vs. Akira Yaegashi. And any Marco Huck fight is also worth a watch.
  21. I favour Broner over Burns but it's a competitive fight in my opinion. I think Broner is a tad over-rated at fighting on the outside but he's excellent at fighting on the inside/mid-range.
  22. Solid effort from Rees but Broner's skill set was too much. And shell-style defence aside, Broner fights nothing like Floyd Mayweather.
  23. Hard to see past a Broner victory. Rees will be game and come to fight but it figures to be a long and painful night for him.
  24. Broner v Rees tomorrow night. Live on Sky Sports 2 from 2am
