I do like him, always speaks well of the club and seemed genuine…
However still not sure he’s good enough and the fact that is still questionable even though he has been with us for some time tells me he’s not, however none of our managers over that time have played him in his preferred position for a prolonged period of time, again pointing to the likelihood he is not good enough.

I reckon it should only be used for offside, seeing if ball is over line and violent conduct. The rest should be up to the referee. Give them back some kind off authority.
On a side note I can’t believe pundits are saying Baldys red card was 100% not a red. Even if someone thinks is not a red, surely they can understand why it’s been given.

I think it’s a red card. His foot is high with studs showing and he has no intention of playing the ball. His only focus is on the player.
Watch the angle from behind the Madrid player. Baldy is not even looking at the ball. Only the player…..

I think the main change for him and the squad in general is that we have chucked the pathetic notion that we are a possession based team. It’s been there since Gerrard came in. No way can we be a possession based team with guys who can’t pass the ball well enough. Was also the downfall of our squad when we got back to the top flight. The best Rangers teams have never been a possession based team.

His form has been excellent. Probably the most improved over the 5 games with a proper manager.

To be honest I would be disappointed if we had a completely different team to three years ago. Could also easily be argued that two of those players are only in because of injuries in the squad.
With proper tactics and management we are in nowhere near as bad a state as some seem to think.

I don’t think we are in a bad state. My point was that we have spend quite a lot of money, but still rely on the same players.

Really harsh on Ridvan, he hasn’t been amazing and maybe he’s not the answer but I don’t dread him being near the ball which is an improvement on Barisic
To be fair I think it was the only occasion Davies didn’t cover Ridvan in the match

It’s quite depressing, after all the money spent on new players we are starting Tav,Goldson, Balogun, Barisic, Jack and Lundstram…. Same as about 3 years ago….
Not having natural width worries me as I think we’ve been at our best when we go with natural width. I think Tav also plays better when someone is in front of him… hopefully Cantwell will stay wide and not play to central
