I was actually doing MAPPA training today with the MAPPA team for the area I work in and they were saying that the had to engage with these groups and do training with them because they were becoming a danger due to the fact they know fuck all about the criminal justice system. They told a story about a flash mob of around 100 people in Inverclyde who appeared outside this guy's house on a Saturday night calling him a beast. The police attended, police officers injured, 7 arrests and no one from the local area. They'd came from all over. Turns out one of them knew a guy with the same name as a paedo who'd been convicted and they just decided it was him. The guy has no convictions at all. He was in the house with his wife and weans.

It's maybe because the beasts rarely talk, but I've never watched one of those videos and not wanted to hook at least one or two of them doing the sting.
