  1. He could be worth £30m+ in a few years... You have to remember that this was foremerly one of England's greatest clubs that has done sod all on the domestic scene for over 50 years, they're building for the future and to hopefully cement themselves in the top 10 of the Premier League for years to come. The fans deserve it, 40,000 turning out regularly to see relegation scraps for too long.
  2. For £8.1m + add ons. Great signing in my opinion, apparently he turned down Liverpool in favour of Sunderland aswell.
  3. Why would Newcastle and Sunderland want to leave the money spinning English Premier League for the SPL where their fans can look forward to trips to St Mirren and Dunfermline?
  4. Don't know a single football fan down here who is willing to comprehend seeing a load of fenian scum turn up at stadium's throughout England singing their disgusting IRA shit. There'd be a fucking riot every other weekend.
  5. I have to say that I found their deluded ramblings about "Villa being too big a club for McLeish". Aston Villa FC aren't even a cum stain on a wall compared to the Rangers.
  6. Sunderland should snap their hands off if they offer £20m+. Nowhere is he worth anywhere near that, he's a good prospect but I'm unsure whether he will go on to be world class, his form dipped in the middle of last season quite alarmingly, although this could be down to inexperience. Sunderland could use the money very wisely.
  7. As a young Englishman I can barely remember the last time we played Scotland in 2000, think I was only 8. Would like to experience the atmosphere first hand so would love for us to be involved in this. Shame our FA see us as some sort of footballing super power (which we clearly aren't) and believe we're too good to be playing the likes of Wales, Scotland and both Irish sides on a regular basis. The tournament hasn't been thought out very well though, every game at the same stadium? Should be a little "league tournament" organised at the end of the season, each nation only has to play three games, assuming we boot the Taig's out of course, can't have those fenian bastards singing their shite songs and drinking Guinness on British soil.
  8. Huddersfield are something of a sleeping giant, they actually won the Premier Division title three times in a row in the 1920's under the legendary Herbert Chapman who repeated the feat with Arsenal in the 30's. They've got a decent fanbase aswell, as you could see from today's game. Shame they're going to be languishing in the 3rd tier for abit longer. There's some big Yorkshire clubs in League One next year, both Sheffield clubs and Huddersfield, could be an interesting season if all three are pushing for promotion!
  9. His back is what is causing the most concern to everyone. He needs an operation which would put him out for a few months and Sunderland weren't willing to pay for this because he was only on loan to them.
  10. Well arguably, he is. I've spoke to some Mackems and they reckon he is the most naturally gifted defender they've ever seen, indeed some reckon he'd be playing at a top European club if it wasn't for his injury record. Fast as lightning, strong, won't shirk a challenge and good in the air despite not being the tallest. Would be the best defender in the SPL by a country mile.
  11. Was speaking to some of the deluded idiots about it the other day. Apparently singing "oh ah up the ra" isn't bigoted... The fact that the IRA were a sectarian terrorist organisation who murdered Protestant's in cold blood didn't seem to dawn on them. Thick as pig shit.
  12. I just completed GTA IV the other day on Xbox actually, had it since before Xmas and think it got quite tedious after awhile which is why it took me five months do sift through it. The missions are all the same basically. I enjoy playing online with friends though.
  13. Everton have had some rank tops in the last couple of years, that pink away one from a couple if years ago. Sorry but I don't think this one is any better either.
  14. He's still a legend in my native North East England awell, quality little player.
