My mates a forest fan and I text him to get his opinion on Garner. He said he's a good player, gives his all, will do well up here but probably isn't English premier league quality.
Forest also didn't use him properly and stuck him out on the wing a lot so that's probably why his record there isn't as good as it was at Preston most recently. Perhaps other teams have played him out there as well.

Get yourself a ticket in the Club Deck mate, best view in the stadium.
Looks like we're on course for another sell out!

I think you're at it OP. It would have been posted in the transfer forum if true.

Watching the Man Utd game earlier I noticed that Zlatan hardly ever drifted any wider than the edge of the box.
I think that's what we need, far to often yesterday our left back was putting balls into the box and our FRONT 3 were nowhere to be seen.
I find that scandalous.
Signing Joe Garner and having Holt/Windass fit should give us more bodies in the box in they situations.

Hopefully Tav is back on free kicks next week.

It will be the Saturday, the great Scottish run is the Sunday so I doubt a game would be rearranged for the same day as that.

Only the Bheasts and Partick left with 100% records, and that can't possibly last past their rearanged fixture. Worst case scenario we trail them and nobody else. Not a bad situation to be in after two games.
That rearranged game won't be played for a while so forget about that. Beat Motherwell at home next week then Kilmarnock away the week after and go into the old firm game top of the league

I'm curious to see how Hodson holds up starting in a league game and his position is RB. Defence needs a shake up either way.
So you would drop our best defender of the campaign so far?
Very good.

Still top after the 3pm games.
Going for 55

Wes
Tav Kiernan Hill Wallace
Forrester Rossiter Halliday
O'Halloran Dodoo McKay

A huge three points today bears!
Not the best performance but I thought we showed good character in the final 10 minutes to see the game out. Last season we dropped points in games such as Falkirk and Raith away so we are improving.
Another positive is that more of our players got game time that need it E.g. Barton and Niko.
Onto Motherwell at home next week. Let's get another sell out and have Ibrox rocking. If the tims drop points in the early game away to St. Johnstone the atmosphere could be quite good!
-
Is this the first time you've watched football OP?
Wes 5.5? Fuck off
Wes, Rossiter, McKay and Forrester were the only players I would say played well. I thought Barton was dreadful, really doesn't look fit enough yet. I feared the worst when Niko came on to replace Halliday that they two wouldn't have enough energy.
-
I really hope Barton gets substituted this half.

King Kenny!!!!

Get Tav back on the free kicks
-
At least Rossiter is starting!
The midfield 3 lacks a bit of creativity imo. I'd have like Forrester in there instead of Halliday with O'Halloran wide right.
Hopefully today's team come good though!

Really looking forward to the game now, we really do need 3 points imo in order to get the positivity back amongst the fans.
With the taigs game postponed and Aberdeen playing Hearts it's a great opportunity for us to get back in amongst it today and have everyone looking forward to Motherwell visiting Ibrox next week.

What's the bets for the weekend bears?

15:40 Newbury - Von Blucher 11/2
15:55 Ripon - Orion's Bow 9/2

It's true. Could be 4 or 5 behind and the first OF game is away plus we have Aberdeen away too. Teams are going to try more against us this season than the scum because of our return so I always thought it would take 1 or 2 years for it to settle down. I hope I am proved wrong. Just being realistic.
Nonsense, even if we fail to win against Dundee there would still be 36 games to go.
Celtic miss a domestic fixture this week and Aberdeen have Hearts at home. We could be heading into the old firm on September the 10th with 10 points from 12, unbeaten and top of the league. Everything looks rosey for Rodgers atm but if he fails to qualify for the champions league group stages and fails to beat us in September the knives will be out for him. Let's see how he copes with the pressure.
