  1. Wow totally never seen this coming How long before the bid is laughed at, rejected, and reports of "Y u no accept bid?!?" emanate from the press?
  2. Wit! I never cause trouble on on here! *runs off to get the rest of the team from FF*
  3. This for me too You have to admit though he is sooo much better up front than CM
  4. Exactly what I was thinking when I saw the thread title. Names?
  5. I know, it really is quite a risky and dare I say less than honorable strategy they are employing. As I said though if it does go through, it probably will be for the best. Only thing I can do now is hope that they succeed as looks like the damage has already been done.
  6. Oh well, not in support of these measures to be honest but if it does actually result in getting Smith and co in the hotseat then you won't be hearing any complaints from me.
  7. Aside from what Green paid, he also incurred a variety of other costs, taking his outlay to around £10 million. He and his investors want to double their investment, which sounds fair enough to me.
  8. I don't know I get the impression that Green is the sort of guy that won't really give a fuck. Besides I think when most people realise that McColl et al aren't going to put up the money Green wants they will give in and buy their season ticket.
  9. Honestly you would think the roles were reversed in this situation. The Rangers man who came in when the club was at its lowest, regardless of the outcome of the HMRC situation, CVA, ticketus and saved the club from the brink of extinction. Then the vultures who came in when all was well and good (relatively), imposing manipulation in the press, using a fans favourite as a figurehead and putting pressure on the owner to simply step aside for peanuts. You couldn't make it up!
  10. I know we do but it's not up to us to make this happen, it's up to them. By not getting behind the club and buying season tickets we are the ones inflicting harm.
  11. It would surprise me very little if Walter too has been at the hands of some manipulation. This all seems very un-Walter like to me.
  12. Bullshit. If Green has done nothing wrong then he should be allowed to go about his business. A better man would not try and manipulate the fans into ousting said non-wrongdoer. He would simply thank the man for his services and pay him fair compensation. This is not Walter I am talking about here I should mention, but his backers.
  13. Well if they do have the money, they do not need a rally to put pressure on Green to sell. All they need is a chequebook and a pen.
  14. Well that's your prerogative but IMO you are going to be doing more harm than good. By adopting this attitude I fear we are going to have another Blue Knights vs Duff and Phelps scenario where the 'Rangers men', spurred on by the goodwill of the fans, will offer a pittance and expect Green to hand the club over as if it is their divine right. I think the club would be much better off if everyone got behind the new owner, invested in season tickets, and let them get on with the job they came here to do. Or, if the 'Rangers men' really want the club and really have it at heart then for God's sake buy the man out fair and square.
  15. Why should Green negotiate? He's put up the cash and done the hard work so it's rightfully his. Yes it would be nice if Walter and co bought it from him but there's no way in hell I'm going to be putting pressure on Green to sell after he's saved our club. If they want it so much then pay the man, or invest and join the board, or else let him get on with his job as the new CEO of Rangers. We've had enough distractions over the past year, a power struggle putting the fans in the middle is the last thing we need.
  16. Why don't you rally McColl and co to give Green £20 million then the club is theirs.
  17. You can't really argue with anything he's said to be honest. Get yourself signed up Wattie
  18. Exacty, 80 million over 5 years was is not? There's no way the sky deal will hold up with no Rangers or old firm games. It's all right though only another 3,000 more season ticket holders and they don't need Rangers in the SPL Let's just go to the 3rd division, fuck these cunts.
  19. They may not be able to block a CVA, but could they not report us to FIFA and get us ordered with another transfer ban for not paying the full fee?
  20. Whatever helps you sleep at night
  21. Sorry man it's a pretty easy question to answer, the fact that you don't want to answer it speaks volumes in itself. Don't let it bother you though
  22. I think you know there's a difference in this case. A lot of people are protective of young women and rightfully so, there's a lot of hurtful people out there. As I said though she can clearly handle it which is good to see.
