I am sure there are thousands of things that fathers wouldn't be happy with their daughters doing. At the end of the day though, it's harmless. Those that hit out with the slag/slut comments though are purposely trying to hurt someone else's feelings and put them down, far from harmless. BT's is obviously able to rise above it though so fair play to her.

I don't think for one second Carlos thought the banner was aimed at the players. Regardless of what it actually read, there is no doubt that the banner was extremely insensitive and offensive to our American players. I don't see why there was any need to bring in Miller's nationality into it as part of their 'protest'. Thankfully Carlos did realise that those responsible were in the vast minority and are in fact morons.

I just don't get it with this guy, he seems to score a bucket load of goals, but every time I watch him (maybe about 15 times or so), he looks awful. Shit touch, can't pass, misses numerous chances etc. Anyone care to explain why is he so highly rated?

I usually actively want England to lose but this year feel pretty indifferent about them. If John Terry's in the team though I hope they get pumped, can't stand the guy. Wouldn't mind seeing a Germany win either, like the way they play football. As long as Spain don't win it though I'm happy, bored of their tiki-taka tactics.

Well i'm not sure if it was with my dad or my uncle I went with the first time, but it was definitely my uncle who managed to get a couple of season tickets for a day from his boss. I've got early memories of sitting in the Main stand rear, close to the right hand edge, went on to sit there a few times. Must have been around 10,11 maybe. I remember the fans, the swearing, the cheering, just how animated and passionate everyone was. The football itself, I honestly remember very little, except for me enjoying it of course. The first matches I actually remember in particular were the three Champions League matches in 03/04 against Man Utd, Stuttgart, and Panathanaikos; got to go onto the pitch as a flag bearer for the Stuttgart match. It's still pretty weird to think I did that haha, seems like a bit of a dream. Would be nice if I remembered more, but the one's I do have are all good ones
