Ah The Kingdom. You'll have a great time in Fife. Just stay away from methil, abbeyview, Kirkcaldy, Inverkiething, Valleyfield, Kelty, Ballingry, Glenrothes and stick to the nicer places ... like Edinburgh

That's pretty much the whole of fife.?? missed out lochgelly.

Thanks to gogzy, who gave me a steer which led to a solid lead, will be sitting in "The Rule, St Andrews" enjoying a pint with the grandson, anyone in the area pop in for a scoop.

    cheers ??

  2. Away on holiday in Fife, grandson and me stuck on caravan site not showing the game... so needing some info on who is showing the game in this area (Anstruther). Wee man is only 14 so not straight forward to walk into a pub. Any local supporter clubs have anything organised?

  3. The Corkonian, they have football matches they are showing on there facebook, just had a look, all the games from this weekend. Showing Celtic game, Hearts game etc. It was a smashing wee pub tbh, one of only 2 places i could find cider, lol.

    Thx Tak3r..

I will pull up their facebook page when I get a chance..

    WATP..

  4. If you're that excited you should stay at home and go to the game

I am a season tkt holder with my grandson and we rarely miss a game, :wanker:

however this trip is nostalgic in origin...

Belgium is for paying tribute to the fallen in the great war.

also, being posted in Germany for 4 years there is a visit to the old haunts with my squaddie wife..

no need to give an explanation for holland.

  5. There is an irish bar in the middle of town that may do it, they were showing the golf when i was in. Alot of the German pubs i was in last month didnt have tvs, lol.

Thats a start, can you remember the name?

I can get in touch before i go to check they will show it.

  6. Can anyone help with this one?

I'm off to Europe on a tour of Belgium, Germany & Holland starting today. :peanut:

My dilemma is, I miss the first league encounter of the season next week, like the rest of the support, I am excited for this season as I see a new and exciting brand of football not witnessed in a few years at ibrox.

I will be staying close to Cologne next Friday, the plan (even missus has agreed) is to go into Cologne for the day and try and catch the game at night.

Does anyone know of a bar who would be showing, or at least willing, to air the game if asked?

  7. I know, with such limited numbers this will be a big ask.

Have been to most games (work permitting) over the past 3 years with my grandson, however coming down to some of the most important games of this period and cannot for the life of me get hold of tickets for Saturday. Have took the day off work regardless.

I am asking if any fellow bears out there come across 2 tickets (ideal) 1 would be just as good, please give me a shout.

  8. I'm not long off the phone to dunfermline, they have none in the away section left, home only. I'm really on bears waking up with sore heads on sat morning and deciding they can't be arsed.

I would do that if was on my own,, don't want to drag the wee grandson up there finding out we cannae get in..

    i'll keep searching..

    No Surrender
