  1. No matter the highs No matter the lows No matter what good news or bad news the (clearly biased) media sends our way. I will always feel privileged to have sat in the hallowed grounds of Ibrox and winessed The Rangers play. (Positive thread ut I figured we need some positivity these days)
  2. Can imagine the amount of tarriers going blind pullin' the heed off it at the back page of todays sun. Fucking degenerates the lot of them.
  3. This is them just trying to stick the boot in when we are down. I can't see why they have any grounds for this complaint in the first place, no match fixing, no betting scams (as sure as shit if we had done something like that, it would have been found out fucking years ago). There is nothing in the rules about spending more than you earn (no one complains about man utd, chelsea, city, liverpool, real madrid spending stupid money and racking up insane debt). No governing body has any financial fair play rules (yes we know uefa are implementing them soon)at this time so we have done nothing wrong. They are just bitter, twisted, childish fucking arseholes who can't stand to be in our shadow and are proving that they will stoop to any levels, and I mean ANY level to get one over on us. And say hypothetically this stripping us of trophies did happen, there would be mass outcry and definite trouble flaring up around the west of scotland in my opninion as there is definitely something funny afoot in the corridors of the shady football association with regards to tour o japan and regan's relationship. Conflict of interests? I think so. Funny how all this shit with regards to compliance officers and us potentially being investigated has only started happening since that big fat lying cunty excuse of a human being joined the sfa board. And why should rangers as a club be punished when it's the chairman of our club who is at fault? Fuck the lot of them. Bitter fucking rabid frothy mouthed bastards!
  4. BLAH BLAH BLAH The Fucking Rangers are still here Take yer speculative headlines and hearsay and get yerself to fuck HULLO HULLO (you all know the rest) We are going no fucking where
  5. Just throwing this out there but are there any dutch or german coaches who would touch the dugout with a bargepole?
  6. THERE'S NO NEED TO YELL! WE CAN SEE JUST FINE!
  7. That brought a tear to the eye. Growing up during the 9 in a row era was a joyous time. From Super scoring against the scum in the cup when we were down to ten men and his overhead kick against hibs being some of my early memories of this great club. To putting Leeds in their place, pounding ira fc into submission year after year, Gazza rolling up the sleeves and winning us 8, the joy on Laudrups face when his header to clinch no.9. And the season our heroes finished their pursuit of 10 empty handed was just heartbreaking even thinking back it hits a raw nerve. Even modern memories, seeing Arteta's reaction after scoring that penalty, to Novo scoring that penalty to send us to manchester where we huffed and puffe at the final hurdle. Good video
  8. If this is how Ally truly feels regarding not faulting that "effort" then we really are in the shit because he just does not seem to be learning. Instead of using the shovel to dig the team out of a big fucking hole, he's digging further into it. This tough time could be forgiven if there was evidence of a game plan and clear thinking in our play, but it's like when yer in the school team and everybody just runs into a big mess of legs trying to get a kick of the ball. Ugh! I wish I could come on here and talk about how good a win was or discuss the excitement regarding a new signing for once.
  9. You don't need millions of pounds to play the game on the deck and play players in their correct positions, or to sit down after a bad result and study where you went wrong and learn from mistakes. This in my opinion is going to be Ally's downfall. Not lack of funds. Yes the current situation isn't helping, but he has had some money. He has taken over a team who won the league 3 years on the trot and now we have been knocked out of 4 competitions (pretty early on too which isn't right). And have seen peado fc pull back a huge gap to overtake us. I just shudder to think how far behind we would be if they didn't have that horrible run of form. It's his inability to learn from his mistakes and persevere with hoofball and retarded substitutions that is going to cost him his job. There's no doubt his heart is in the right place (don't think anyone would doubt that) But he just doesn't have "it" to manage a team yet and Rangers is not the place to cut your teeth (even though he's been learning under Walter the last few years) We should have enough to win the league squad wise, but we don't have the proper leader in my opinion.
  10. Our midfield does indeed have a potent threat about it if used properly (i.e don't fucking have shagger hoof it from the back and bypass the most important area of the pitch). And I would say that if you're being paid thousands to play football then you should at least have the requirements to test a goalkeeper.
  11. They've had pretty much fuckall european football for years, they won't be in a great financial state. Nor does anyone else in scottish football. Anyway, back on topic, I reckon signing this guy would have been a faux pas due to age (can't comment on ability, not seen much). Salihi would have been a better option, and would have cost less. We can still win the league though, Ally just needs to stop with the fucking pish tactics and mind bending experiments.
  12. Seems to me like Whyte is putting the squeeze on him so he'll quit. But he never walked when Souness benched him so I doubt he'll walk away from this. So my guess is he'll be pushed. He better start learning from his mistakes though, like edu over lee, football over hoofball, players in position over out of position.
  13. The fee for that was ridiculous, Chelsea should have been told to fuck off and cheaper (but quality) alternatives should have been brought in. (We were made to regret rejecting hartson for example) But I think flo was treated harshly, he wasn't bad... Just never worth 12 mil
  14. I feel we may play football on the deck as long as healy is upfront. But I fear lafferty returning could also spell the return of hoofball because lafferty's height will be an influence in Ally's thinking. But here's hoping ball on the deck is here to stay
  15. In my opinion it was the advocaat days that sparked all this pish. And despite the quality players we got to see, the return was never worth the investment considering he never got any further in the champions league that walter and his reign went out with a whimper.
  16. This squad of players who are paid more a week than what most folk earn a year should do the job they are paid to do (and as we know they can do) as true professionals. And as far as I know, we still pay full wages in time. But what should spur them on is the chance to become proper legends where winning trophies and giving the fucking finger to all the wankers slinging shite at our club with their political (and other) agendas. In my opinion this title would properly merit legendary status to this squad if they achieve the flag for the 4th year in a row as the mountain to climb is much higher than the last couple of years (which now in hindsight is like a precursor to what is happening now)
  17. we didn't take the bid for him in summer because the timing apparently left us with no chance of replacing him. Yet we have taken a shite sum of money for a good player and didn't try and replace him (I don't believe the half arsed attempt to sign an offer the hill EPL player as effort) Everything reeks of lies. I reckon we'd be taking things a little better if the board just told us how it is instead of trying to force feed us porkies.
  18. Say he walks or is pushed in summer... Who would WANT to come right now?
  19. This will come off as a ramble as my mind is all over the place giving what is going on at our club with all the rumours etc. I agree that living to fight another day is what should be done, go and rebuild, remain fairly competitive and not expect to win the league (or any cups?) for a few seasons. But we can't afford to do that now, not with the archaic, slumbering, rusty machine that is the SPL. I mean look at what happens when we fail to qualify for europe, panic and a restriction on finances. If we win nothing for a few years, attendances will start to dwindle and less ticket and prize money will come through. We will end up being stuck in the bargain bin gutter and I don't believe our club has any clue what to do with our youth, I mean when was the last time a youth player came through the ranks and became a legend? Barry perhaps? Bleak times ahead. My rambling point is that investment is not scottish footballs strong point and money does all the talking in football these days. So I'm just fearing the worst with lack of funds/investment.
  20. This is what's hurting me about losing him. We never even got a full season out of him. 4 mil for two half seasons, of which only one half he looked interested.
  21. Regardless of Holt's value to us, to offer 900k for an EPL player is gonna get knocked back 9/10. But the point has been made, Salihi is apparently worth 500k is he not?? So why not bid? My brain hurts.
  22. Healy as number 1??!!! We giving Shagger a run upfront? I kid I kid
  23. Surely we should have imposed a lunchtime deadline on this deal at the latest in order to bring in a replacement or two. (I reckon any more than one player brought in is unlikely given the timescale). My only theory for this deal taking so long to be finalised is that Whyte has no intention of handing Ally any money to bring in a striker, therefore hanging him out to dry and giving him an excuse to push Ally out the door or to have him walk out himself (possibly to save face with the fans and prevent himself from being the man who fired Super, that wouldn't go down well given current rumours) If this is the case... Then the club saying Jelavic wasn't sold in the summer due to the timing of the bid is a complete and utter fucking lie. Bit of a ramble but the lack of ambition shown here is worrying and if the likes of Salihi are available for that reported 500k then surely it would be worth the gamble. On the brighter side, I reckon we've played our best football this season without Jelavic, but Healy and Lafferty aren't the answer.
