Used to wear the same strip for 2 or 3 seasons before they changed the rules to allow clubs to release new ones every season and fleece the fans.

I preferred this. Alternating home/away each year.

I do remember the snow being really fucking bad that night, and I may be wrong but I think they dispelled the rumor on Clyde one that night, even so there must have been something wrong for it to have been that bad surely?

Aye I was having a pint in town before the game. Came out the pub and it was lying in town which I've never seen before.

But in all my time going to ibrox I've no recollection of snow/ice being an issue.

Terrible night as a Rangers fan, the crowd was in a toxic move to begin with, the whole crowd singing sack the board, then the call of just made some folk flip, then the boycotters started trying to assault old men.

During the start of the game there was a rumor going about that the pitch was in such a state because we couldnt afford to pay the undersoil heating, ive since heard this wasnt true, but at the time as the rumor was spreading you could feel the anger rising around you, to be honest its probably better it got postponed early

Something must have been up with the undersoil heating that night. If it was on/working it wouldn't have been a problem. Wouldn't surprise me if the rumours were true.

Tried to start a little anti Rangers alliance with the taigs and then were routinely asset stripped of their best players for buttons then swiftly cast aside, how did that one work out for yous you gullible deluded arseholes looks like the tarriers have already picked their next victims aswell in Hibs

    Hahaha!

although to be fair the tarriers have been cherry picking the junkie bastards since day one.

We missed him. I hope there is someone better than him coming in next season; if there isn't then it's a huge concern.

Wouldn't surprise me if the two kids we had tonight were lining up next season

    Apparently only 25000 renewed

    Honestly not surprised.

We are being taken for mugs and going by this season it could be a long journey to winning anything again.

I've renewed and always will but I can understand why many may not.

You've got it in one, though. Celtic are a decidingly political football team in a way few other teams are, deriving from their beginnings and the continued taint of Irish republicanism.. Rangers are defined by winning football and being the best. Celtic are defined by some sort of 'historic struggle' and their own special brand of perpetual identity politics as the 'Irish Catholic team.' And they're particularly aggressive about pushing or spinning a particular image of themselves as a socially conscious, 'progressive' football club, who play 'attractive' football and who have the 'greatest fans in the world.' We know it's bullshit, we've seen their racism, their lashing out at opponents, their campaigns against referees, their constant peddling of propaganda, the inherent ugliness when the mask slips, but they're aggressive about how they push their image, with a media all too ready to push that message too. They are the establishment club of twenty-first century Scotland with it's current political climate and all the rest of it - that's not a criticism, that's fact, fair play to them for having engineered such a feat. And just check out their fans on social media - there certainly seems to be more of them then there are of us sometimes, and it's almost as if they're are of one hive mind, constantly working in the same direction - Admin, Big Tax Case, 'Rangers are deid', 'Refs are against us' 'We're the nicest club in the galaxy be our pals' etc. Hell, the Chinese state-sponsored bloggers could probably learn a thing or two from them.

Can't disagree with any of that mate (not that you were disagreeing with what I said haha).

It's fucking foul. The fact they still insist there is a conspiracy against them is laughable lunacy. Has to be the worst "conspiracy" I've ever seen in my life.

What in the fuck happened for us to be so apathetic and weak in a "political" sense? (Political in terms of PR etc).

Remember  just after 9/11 where the whole civilised world was in outrage and shock. Cue the next OF game at Ibrox and the tim  making aeroplane gestures to Claudio Reyna.

The truth is the press are scared shitless of doing anything to upset this lot no matter how low they stoop.

    This.

And it has to be asked why. They're a fucking football team. Not a political party (although they think they are). It angers me beyond words at how things are.

Andy halliday gets penalised for raising a fist to fans because it could have started a riot... Yet in an oldfirm derby they score and celebrate in front of opposing fans, then The Thumb signals to a rangers fan to come on to the park and not a fucking thing has been said about it! He wasn't going for brown he was going for Leigh Griffiths because he told him too!?

Exactly my point mate. We have literally had players punished for fuckall.

They are getting let away with fucking everything and no one except us fans are questioning it. I don't condone fans invading the pitch but they asked for it with the way they acted after scoring.

And further to my point of them getting away with anything, brown having his red reversed has literally given them permission to two foot anyone at anytime. The precedence is there for any punishment to be waived now.

Those bastards should be pulled up for celebrating directly in front of Rangers fans. Players that do shit like that deserve all they get, for antagonising, and gesticulating, towards, or at , opposing fans.

It used to be part of the game. Wind us up and we will wind them up back.

Whats pissing me off about the way they goaded us on Saturday isn't that they done it (I expect nothing less from that shower of shite). It's that we have been penalised for years for it while they get let away with it.

Djouff at The Piggery red carded post match for throwing his top into the Bears.

Halliday red for a wee fist pump.

Forrester for celebrating normally after scoring against Dundee.

Compare that to what they get away with:

Lego muncher squaring up to fans on more than one occasion.

Tying scarves round our goal posts

The lurgan bigot cupping his ears towards us.

The lurgan bigot shout sectarian abuse towards our bench and spitting on a scarf.

Celebrating in our faces after every goal on Saturday.

    Where's the fucking parity????

The club should publicly come out and claim over exuberance.

Or blame the fact the referee let them goad us.

Normally I'd say suck it up its part of the game but considering Halliday's red card for fuckall and Forrester being booked against Dundee in the cup last year for doing nothing wrong after scoring it's all starting to look a bit deliberate to me.

Difference being a crime has been committed. It was a crime at the time and is still a crime.

I think this will reach fever pitch levels around Britain eventually and the public will want a pound of flesh. It's not likely to be a big club in England that has its balls nailed to the wall mate, guaranteed.

I only hope you're right mate I truly do.

People on here had the same reaction, saying the manager was talking shite etc when all he was doing was having a technical football conversation with journos.

We don't appreciate the mechanics of football and tactics in Scotland.

And it shows. The state of our game from top to bottom in a footballing sense is in the gutter.

It's still all blood and thunder, kick and rush, battle and aggression played by limited tank like men.

And they wonder why Scottish teams can't compete in Europe nor the national team qualify for a tournament.
