  1. One of many recently gary! No doubt another bloody 100+k payoff.
  2. You are even the most negative on this thread! Hhhmmm???
  3. Hey Viscount - strangely enough, it always seems to be the same person knocking it!
  4. Good for games in the winter! He must have been at the wind-up. :-)
  5. Plus, some seats are pretty far from the action - unless there was 50k plus, the atmosphere would be dire. Unfortunately, a 40k stadium would be ideal but Scotland does not have one.
  6. Not sure about Murrayfield - not sure we would make a dent in a 67,000 seater stadium.
  7. Madina - I spoke to the club yesterday. A spokesman said that there are simply too many players for a photograph this year, however they are hoping to have less players as we progress through the divisions.
  8. I would say 300k for CEO and 200k for FD is fine. I also have no problems if they get a (sensible) bonus relevant to their field of expertise i.e. reducing costs and increasing revenue. Ally on the other hand - two points on this. 1) We are where we are, someone gave Ally that contract and therefore Ally is not to blame. We can look at the morals of Ally taking that salary, however this is business and facts are facts. 2) Moving forward and in general terms, the salary of the Rangers manager should be reduced - the salary should not be determined by the occupant but the amount fitting of the position. Any Rangers managers salary will fit within the budget allocated for the position. Subsequently, and specifically as Ally is currently in the position - his salary should be reduced as per point above. As for the position currently held by McDowall and Durrant - I fail to understand why any one of these positions would command anywhere above 100k per annum. Again the salaries of these positions should be pre-determined and the occupant fits the structure.
  9. Delighted that this has fallen through - no disrespect to Zaliukas, but we do not need any more players at this point in time. We have ample choices for each and everyone of our positions at the moment - if we did not have Perry, Cribari and Hegarty then I would have welcomed a signing at CH but as we do we should move forward as we are. Giving our "alleged" financial issues, lets progress as we are, win the league and revaluate who we can move on and who we can bring in at the end of the season.
  10. What about his valid points BP9 - are you going to respond to those or simply quote airy fairy lines that have no relevance to anything?
  11. I am not sure I agree with your 4-3-3, but you are spot on with everything else. Anyone that is hiding behind statistics at this level of football are kidding themselves on. We have bought some better players, however we continue to use them poorly.
  12. Not had a problem other than a bit of buffering here or there. Have only watched the games live though, never delayed. If you were a proper fan CR you would get your arse out of bed and watch it live!!!
  13. Turnberry, forget about stats for a moment - what do you think about the performance on Sunday? Are you saying that due to the fact we did not concede a goal that Sunday was an acceptable performance?
  14. The problem with Jig at the back is that we sit much too deep - he is obviously conscious of his lack of pace and the fact he turns like a double decker bus. Because we sit too deep, it has an effect on the midfield and in turn they struggle to close down the opponents as they should. The next problem is the gap between midfield and our forwards, hence the glaring lack of support for Daly on Sunday.
  15. Gogzy - I agree with you 100%, not with your line-up, but with the fact Ally has made so many changes at the same time. For me there was no need to do it and I could not believe he brought all those players in for the East Fife game. For example, we had to endure watching Faure all last year playing absolutely shite and then we drop him this year when he has shown a huge improvement both in his physical conditioning and his general play (at centre half only) - for me this is poor. Secondly, we
  16. You dare not. What we missed were players being played in their correct positions.
  17. Same minus Jig - giving him the benefit of the doubt.
  18. sorry if I am getting too technical for you Al - I will revise it to 3 and keep you happy!
  19. Question - how many players do we have in the same positions as our 5-0 win over East Fife?
  20. and I am being kind - you could make it 4 if you include Law playing too deep. I swear to god, I have no idea how Ally manages to assess his full squad and pick the team he has put out there and the positions he plays them. Plus - he blows any continuity we have built by putting in so many new players at the same time.
