  1. Unfortunately, he's not taking the piss. I took my wife to her first ever game at Ibrox at the start of Jan against Elgin, and she couldn't believe how quiet it was. Told me if I take her again it's either got to be hospitality seats again or down in BF with the UB/BO as they were the only ones making any noise!
  2. I'm sure a lot of them already are on a special register.
  3. Ha ha ha, had a proper laugh out loud moment at that. My daughter just said "it would certainly liven the place up!". The money's good, just not that good. Will just have to drop her off at the Broomy while I go for my usual seat in GF6. She knows she'll have a better time.
  4. Took the whole family to the match today and treated us all to the Thornton Suite hospitality. Had a brilliant day from start to finish (apart from the score), it was the wife's first time at Ibrox and she loved it (she's a London lass & Arsenal fan), but at the end she states she's only coming back if it's in the Thorton Suite again or in with "The Ayia Napa Party Central Crew" as she called it, meaning Blue Order and Union Bears. At the end of the day, well on the way to converting to Bearette.
  5. Cheers for the kind words, even the wife is getting excited about going. And as for me getting paid too much, Yes I am, but like the bints in the Loreal adverts said, I'm worth it! Lol
  6. This will be my last game before flying back out to Kabul on Tue plus it will be the wife's first match, so I thought I'd treat her and the kids to a day in the Thornton Suite. My first time doing the hospitality and can't wait.
  7. Yeass, does this mean Govou's on his way?
  8. You could also try hanging around outside the megastore this Saturday at around 1430 Hrs (2.30 pm), make sure you wear your full Rangers strip and have a football with you to dazzle any one who passes by. This is another sure fire way to win a contract.
  9. Have you tried making a video tape of yourself playing FIFA 2007 and emailing it to football.trial@rangers.com? I'm not an expert on the subject, but I'm pretty sure that's the way to win a football contract.
  10. Not got mine yet, but that's only because I dont get home until next weekend. Not stopped me investing my £500 though.
  11. I agree that those shitey screens should be removed but replaced with some brand, spanking new 3D screens! Imagine going to the game and being able to watch it in 3D, that would be awesome !
  12. Absolutely gutted I couldn't be there yesterday, really looking forward to the boxing day match now. Does anyone have any pics from yesterday?
  13. another tragic loss out here and a fantastic gesture by our club rip
  14. saw the pic of the Govan stand, looks amazing. Just gutted I'm not going to be there this year.
  15. Can anyone tell me how secondary ticketing works? Due to my current location, I'm having to put my seat up for secondary ticketing, and I thought that once I had done so, my seat would appear on the website as available, but as yet I have yet to see this happen. I did give my ST to someone who I thought would use it in my absense, but he handed it back to my wife the day after I left cos his wife said no! Now I just want to make sure my seat is being filled as much as possible while I'm away!
  16. I've got exactly the same feelings as the OP for the boxing day game. Managed to make the first 4 or 5 games this season and then left for Kabul, but have been granted an unexpected 2 weeks off over xmas/new year. Can't wait to get back for what will probably be my final 2 home games of the season.
  17. I wont be there this year, as I'm currently in Kabul, but I will be thinking of everyone, past and present, over the weekend. On a side note, why was the OP neg repped???
  18. I was just really impressed with how quickly she replied to all my emails and how helpful she was. IT contracting for NATO/ISAF, shit job but very good money!
  19. Started my new job out here (Kabul) last weekend, fully expecting to be out here until after the end of the season, but walked straight into some good news in that I'll be able to get home over xmas/new year. Decided that I'll treat myself to some hospitality seats in the Thornton Suite for me and the family. Did it all via email, dealing with a girl called Lisa Forbes, senior sales executive, who was extremely helpfull and speedy with her replies. Just thought I'd share this small snippet of info with you all as I was very impressed with the level of service I received, plus, has anyone done the Thornton Suite matchday package before? Any feedback welcome.
