I wouldn't know i escaped that hole at 2 years old apparently, thank god....

It originally started on twitter with one of the old mans female relatives kicking off about how he was treated, then the aforementioned Owlstalk posters/shitstirrers picked up on it and it went from there..... its all on that thread to see....

Seriously I have been an Owlstalk member since 2005 until i got booted for arguing with a rabid tim, i joined again in 2008 and have been on it since as i am a Cumnock born but Mexborough based Rangers and Wednesday fan, the posters that are spewing all the bile on the post involved on Owlstalk are all Rangers haters and/or plastic tims as well as the usual +positive post reputation collectors, i got a 24 hour ban yesterday after having a go and questioning the modding etc, it ws more than likely someone from that actual topic.thread that passed the story on to the Sheffield Star and i think i know which bigheaded loudmouth it was.... The same people have strangely not commented since all the good Rangers fans news came in about us donating to Johns great charity, the old guy gave a statement but the Sheffield Star kinda twisted it

This is my opinion and i have stated it many a time on Owlstalk, Hillsborough in its present form is outdated and not suitable for modern day football with big attendances , the West Stand needs bulldozing and rebuilding, the North West Corner the same as it rarely has an active safety certificate from what i have heard, the North Stand as majestic as it is has had problems with entrances/exits onto the stands/concourses which resulted on certain areas being "closed" a few seasons ago, the Kop is a mess, it's a dump with loads upon loads of restricted views due to all the pillars, the South Stand IS fit for purpose and looks fantastic and they sell Amstel :) For me i favour a new stadium near Meadowhall as modern day football has to have a 7 day income from non football events, Hillsborough doesn't do this due to its location 4 miles from the city centre IMO

Hate to think what they will insist on when Wednesday play the pigs next season (united) in the Sheffield Derby

It's NOT just South Yorkshire Police, Sheffield SAG, the councils Safety Advisory Group has a huge say what happens, they are not very popular at Hillsborough with Wednesday fans as they have quite a record of "spoiling" potentially good big games with decent crowds .... they \are the ones that insist on huge sterile banks of empty seating as segregation.... they once even insisted on empty seats as segregation when it was WEDNESDAY fans in the lower leppings lane stand (west) with Newcastle fans above...so they was effectively segregating Wednesday fans from Wednesday fans... bizarre at best!

Not gunna happen, logistically not possible North Stand 9,255 West Stand 6,658 Kop and South stand home fans and selling quite well for a friendly Kop 11,210 South Stand 11,352 The club doesn't use the North West corner any more (1,337) Hopefully South Yorkshire Police & Sheffield SAG will see sense and give Rangers more tickets and maybe use the West stand too if needed. It's NOT Sheffield Wednesday that's making thing difficult it's the other 2 bodies mentioned above, we had a great time the last time with no bother whatsoever...
