  1. fuck off to the rangers site, support your club and by rangers tv lite then, or watch the text updates onsite. this is a social forum, we can discuss anything we want. :broadfoot:
  2. certainly is, the big guy looks like he'll be a good player for us
  3. when is bougerra going to get match fit? he has a knock as does king cuellar, so going by what you're saying we will be starting with two players just back from injury who are not match sharp. im thinking we will start with weir and broadfoot until we get other match sharp defenders in. worrying - very worrying
  4. like i keep saying the whole site needs a revamp, windows media player is so slow online, i think they should go with adobe - like every other bloody website. the site looks good, it wouldn't take much to get it more easily navigated and clearly set out.
  5. Lafferty is still relatively young, he's been a stupid boy as well. Once he irons out all the nonscense and starts to be more consistant he could be some player. He has already shown he can beat players for fun, he CAN have a good touch and he can be composed and strike some great goals. I think it's nuts to sell him for such a low price. He HAS proven his ability, all he needs now is consistancy and that generally comes. The talent is the hardest thing to come by - he certainly has talent. The only problem I have with him is he seems very injury prone.
  6. I like whyte so far, seems like a very intelligent guy who will not bend over backwards to appease some impatient fans. Seems to be a great communicator with his staff, he is determined - look how long the takeover took, he showed his determination there. Bear in mind, this guy is no idiot, he is probably being financially prudent in his first year as this is the first time he's ever owned a club. Whyte is exaclty what we needed, someone who doesn't take any nonsense, someone who knows what he wants and how to get it. I don't think whyte like murray would try and release stories to try and make us feel better when things are going wrong, i get the feeling he is honest and will not bull shit us. I like him, exactly what we needed!
  7. agreed, as neville said about manchester uniteds new youngsters "Hungry players are always better than those who have got to the top already." im my opinion, miller has reached the top, starting to sink, and now he will just get worse and worse he needs his speed - it's a big part of his game, i don't think he'll be half as good as he was last season i would take him back, but only if he is on drastically reduced wages and if the fee is low
  8. I'm sorry I totally disagree, i think hieght and wieght is an important issue. Clearly this guy is not the next Fabio Cannavaro, and remember how WE are able to deal with his type in Europe! We kick them to fuck, push them off the ball - ensure he knows he's not getting an easy ride. This guy will have to put up with this from ever other team in the SPL - as it's what we all just do when up against opposition who are more silky. This guy would have to be good to be able to deal with things up here, but guess what - we have never heard of him. He may be a hidden gem, but i severely doubt it! Now that is one thing big walter always insured - big commanding centerbacks at the back - and he didn't even like playing smaller fullbacks. Just my thoughts, rather go for cuellar or bartley, ps, remember a certain karl svensson? Who people HAD heard of, who was respected - he came hear wasn't commanding and failed - big time. Hope im completely wrong!
  9. exactly, im also worried players thinking about signing on the dotted line are watching this preseason and thinking mccoist is not up to the job
  10. hahaha, im thinking i hang on the left, so it will give a little extra room sorry lol
  11. i just hope ally is showing whyte why WE NEED DEFENDERS. perhaps its a ploy playing broadfoot next to weir? lol
  12. id give my left nut for another mols, what a player he was before that injury
  13. broadfoot seems to be really fucking things up at the back, did in the last game, though i only started listening to this not so long ago i would never have him as a CB
  14. i agree these friendlies dont mean anything and they are mearly for fitness and to gain match sharpness, but... what worries me is, if it continues it might affect the players mentally - especially as they all know they are playing under a rookie. i hope to god this is not the case, and ally has the full respect of his players. i dont know, just a thought - a scary one at that.
  15. woohoo thanks buddy, working now. almost as if they dont want us to find it!
  16. WTF??? where's the live commentary on rangers tv? i signed up so i could listen and cant find the bloody link. the site need severely revamped!
  17. that was the price tag at the time, his wage demands were £35'000 at one point so little impact, its been scary, especially for someone getting payed so much
  18. is it wrong i burst out laughing when i saw that post? its the fee that really got me, i dont think anybody thought it was a good idea at the time
  19. hahahaha, if it means waving goodbye to beatey - definitly jelavic is looking good tonight even although he's not hitting the target. seems to getting about
  20. lol big lee mcculoch with a chance inches wide dont make him a striker now ally
  21. think he's typing with 2 fingers? hahaha
  22. try another browser, im on firefox. you need to install a windows media player 11 plugin for that might be a problem with a pop up which comes up just before it starts playing - you have to validate by signing in
  23. hahahahah unless suddenly there's a defender spending spree davie weir offered new contract though lol
