I must say I have considerable sympathy with your view. Personally, I believe we should reject any nvitation to join the SPL, even if the invitation is without any strings/sanctions attached.
Whilst I do not believe this will come to pass, if it did, and Charles Green accepted, I would seriously have to retink my position. To me it would be a betrayal of all that we have stood for over the past few weeks in particular.
i feel like i have been through hell in the last 2 months, worst period of my life and i have went through the death of a parent.
its the feeling of being in limbo, not knowing whts hppening and when it will happen and also the extreme hatred towards us that we could do nothing about. there is no way i am going through all this for nothing, just to end up where we should have been at the start.
my love for rangers is stronger than ever but my hatred of scottish football and the spl is just as strong. i would attend lge cup games against non spl teams and euro games when we get back there, but fuck the rest.

the rfff should look into this, i doubt greens got the balls.
step up qc keen

i know this will be unpopular, but i wont be back if we are reinstated to the spl.
no point in watching anything that is so corrupt, infact if we even accepted being reinstated to the spl we are just as corrupt as the rest of them.
its now at the point where my thinking is div3 or im out. i will still buy strips etc as i love the rangers but im not paying to watch something so corrupt and underhand. makes our ebt case look like a prking fine in comparison.
-
i doubt we will be in div3
-
they really didnt think there votes through.
if i was a fan of any of these clubs i would be suing the board for taking a decision in detriment to the survival of the business because thats what they have done.
the fans wanted it and now i hope they rot in shite.
we will return stronger than ever, they will never be seen again. makes me sleep easier at night
-
if we are deffo in the third div i agree they need to go(sadly). i believe we could afford to keep them however its no very savvy wasting money on players who are far to good for the level you are playing at.
if we are in the 3rd div. the whole club needs overhauled and ran at the proper level.
like ive said on many other threads this is the greatest opertunity we will ever get to build a financial balance that will help and lead our club to be very very secure in the not too distant future.
the dicision will be hard with ppl losing jobs etc but it must be done in order to make sure we never return to this state again
-
i m relly fed up with this shit, they need us.
mr green needs to come out and publically state the only options acceptable to rangers are spl with no sanctions or div3. if none of these are granted we will do everything in our power to find an alternative association to play football in and will fight this all the way to the european courts if need be.
im so sick of this i would accept a yr out of playing lge football if it means we start taking control of our destiny.
if mr green wont stand up to these cunts, us(the support) need to do whatever it takes to fight back, and i mean whatever.
-
this canny be fuckin acceptable, we must fight this shit
-
plastic pitches is an improvement on plastic paddys

The pricing for kids is must.
the more kids we get hooked now the bigger our support will benefit in the future. it haas to be done
-
outgoings should be reduced as far as possible, i know ppl will lose jobs etc but if we are starting at the bottom it should be done properly, there is no point in maintaing an spl standard while we are in div 3. we should take this chance to build up a balance of money in the club over the nxt 3 yrs that will see us very comfortable in the future when we return to the top where we belong.
i believe we will be able to still turnover between 25-30mill and ideally our outgoings should be no more than 10-15 mill, less if possible.
we have a real chance here to build a substancial pot that will keep the club very healthy financialy in the yrs to come.
-
i am not a green hater, but until i know for sure his ideas i would be very reluctant to pay more than £250-300 depending on quality of team he has in mind.
also kids tickets should be about £75 get as many youngsters to start going everyweek as we can, they are our future.

i have an awful feeling we may be offered the 12 membership. just wait and see what happens.

my exact thoughts, livingston easily made it back to the first division. We really need to be just happy we have football to watch rather than worrying about the quality of the players on the pitch. Thats why I love going to youth games, well the big ones like the glasgow cup final we had a couple of months ago, which was just real fans creating one of the best atmospheres in Ibrox I have been in the middle of. Should mention, we had a centre back and a midfielder that played that night that were outstanding, would stroll Div3. Can anyone help with their names? One was playing right centre back (the left centre back was also good, but the other boy was genuinelly class) and a centre mid, think he was wearing number 8??
imho we should have atleast 6-7 maybe more youths 16-18yr olds good enuff for first team football in div 3. if we dont then our current youths will never be good enuff.
-
anyone on more than a few grand a week must be sold or sign a reduced deal.
no point on wasting money that we could save. staff will also unfortunately need to be let go, but if we are starting from the bottom it needs to be done properly and in the cheapest way so we can build a balance that will see the club comfortable for yrs to come.
-
if i was in charge of the rangers our squad would be at best div 1 quality for sfl3 then sfl2 and i believe green is a smart man and this will be what happens.
a large section of our support need to sort out what they expect to see us like over the next few yrs (if) this is where we are.
money should be saved and put aside to make sure on our return to the spl we can assemble a team to wipe the floor with the opposition.
the next few yrs is about returning to where we should be and i will accept whatever quality of player that achieves this.
-
i hope mr green has been getting advice on this from fifa, uefa, lawyers etc. if the sfa dont grant us membership then we can surely seek asylum in another countrys league set up
-
the sfl should just say they will accept rangers without an sfa membership.
time to chase the sfa out of scottish football altogether and start a governing body that is answerable to all senior clubs in scotland.
-
no more sanctions must be accepted!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
sky is owned by a tarrier, no more needs said
-
no, only spl clubs should be and hopefully will be boycotted
-
it was a close contest
-
be lucky if they raise 50k, that still leaves a very big black hole.
they made there bed now i hope they fuckin die in it
-
atleast wait until he gets us a league to play in.
i doubt he has all the answers yet as he wont be able to put his plans into action until he knows what the future holds.
im like everyone else i have my doubts about green however the guy needs time as its one hell of a situation he is trying to sort out.
get off his back until you have some sort of proof he isnt good for our club
